[Things had not been going well for Eve. Between the random and unexpected return of her memories as well as the realization that Horus most likely had been caught and killed she had never felt more adrift than she did currently. With no word from Tristan either, things seemed bleak. Her brief conversation with Samael, while a welcome diversion, did not change the fact that she was currently hiding out in an inn on the outskirts of Ilium wondering if and when someone was coming to kill her for her participation in the revolt.
She had to take action, and fast. Ride to Camlann, perhaps, like she told Samael she would. The idea of putting him in a position where he might be forced to protect her was upsetting, but where else could she go? There was always the option of just going where the wind took her, but that was a daunting prospect. Still. She had to do something.
Approaching the innkeeper, she bartered with him to gain a horse in exchange for a bracelet that she dimly remembered getting as a gift. It's sentimental value was outweighed by necessity; the innkeepers' wife found it pretty and she wouldn't get far on foot even if she had a better chance of evading capture. Loading up her meager possessions, she wrote two quick notes, and was on her way.]

Family, I am safe. Please do not try to find me. I apologize for any upset that I may have caused, but I agree with Tristan about the state of things.

Samael, I didn't want to mention it openly, as I didn't want to involve you, but I was a part of the revolt in Ilium. I know not whether there are still people looking for me due to my part in it, but I have acquired a horse and am intent on finding you. As I said earlier, if I do not make it then know that I tried, and that I would have enjoyed seeing Prince Samael in all his glory. Please know that I love you, inasmuch as I think I could. Stay safe, and feel better.
