[The kill had been good. He runs his hands down the back of his dog, a beastly thing that stood tall and had a wild look about him. In the real world, it would have been known as a Scottish Deerhound but Scotland didn't exist here. It didn't change the fact the dog was a fantastic partner for times like this.
