& the truth
War is not a very deep individual overall, she's mostly wild and needs to be in the action. She will always thrive on conflict and her issues generally link to the other Horsemen. They come before anyone and everything else (except the Apocalypse, but she assumes that's a team effort anyway so).
Oh god and Gabriel, he's a big issue for War, because he's not a Horseman but she still enjoys his company a lot. Being married to him made her have weird squishy feelings in her chest (or as she describes it: wanting to vomit), and that is something she's having trouble dealing with. So she's ignoring it and ignoring that she's legally married to him right now, because part of that feels okay to her- and she knows it shouldn't. Gabriel is never going to be a horseman, but she wants him to have some sort of bond to her that is more than what others have. AND HE GIVES HER A SWORD OKAY.
The truth is, she's very protective of the archangels in terms of not wanting them to stray and fall.
