Re: Shi Elaine; is New York born and raised. She is an only child, though not for a lack of trying on her mother's part (so she has been OFTEN told). Her family was never poor but never overly wealthy, having the benefit of good decision making and savings. Of Welsh descent, she was taught to be proud of her background. Her mother was the strongest influence in her life when it came to religion (Catholic), her father far more flexible and even the sort of joke about it. She has an aunt that dotes on her still and plenty of other family that she considers herself very close to. She had her share of boyfriends in high school, experimented later on like some teens do but settled down and knew what she preferred and wanted once closer to her mid-twenties. Owning a flower shop seemed like a weird but nice idea though she isn't precisely that fascinated by flowers. But people will always buy them to express some emotion or whatever and so there you go. A nice little business to keep her and her dogs alright. She would like children one day but this also scares the hell out of her because...of Galahad. And finding someone to have that child with. God help her.
Morgause; is British-born but of Swedish and Italian descent. She was the only daughter to her parents, surrounded by a handful of brothers, who all have children of their own by now. She grew up more than just well-off and traveled well even before she took on a career as a model, something she enjoyed nicely enough. Morgause has never shied from enjoying the attention of being beautiful. Her family basked in the spotlight time-to-time and so it wasn't an unusual step for her anyway. Religion played its role and she still holds on to her beliefs even if she doesn't express them loudly. When she ceased to be a model, she married a wealthy Italian man, whose motorcycles would be given to the man's nephew (Deiphobus) after his demise. He died courtesy of his hot-blood and recklessness. She then married her second husband some time later, an older French man who would end up passing away from heart failure in his fifties. Sophie is her only child, bearing her father's surname of Depardieu. She has never taken any of her husbands' surnames, remaining a Blomgren always. It is her pride and her fear to give up herself to someone entirely. She would not shy from a third marriage if it wold benefit her but doesn't think it is her cards.
Tristan; was born in South Boston and grew up there. He is another only child and born into a family of people with Irish blood (and some Italian though to a lesser degree and some Croatian as well just because I want). Raised Catholic though he doesn't practice very much now, though. He has, however, plenty of cousins and he figures he would have had siblings if fate had felt kinder. He knows his parents would have liked a much, much larger family. But, alas, it did not and so he remained an only child. His upbringing was fairly normal, his family never really wealthy enough to have brand-new cars (except once and they still have that car) or homes that were large and spacious. They got by with their sense of loyalty and affection. Together through thick and thin. There was also a pressure to excel and be good. To do good. His joining the army is not at all surprising in that case. Afterward, he opted to become a wealthy Italian man's bodyguard, something enabling him to send home money whenever possible. He'll never abandon his family and never cease to support them. Tristan, though a romantic at heart, does not foresee marriage or even children in his future. While nice, he suspects that his being Tristan of Cornwall will probably screw it up. And, truth be told, it probably will.
