Re: Shi Angrboda; is a Blackwell first and foremost and was born in New York. She is the youngest of her side of things with a British father and Swedish and Polish mother. She is, I think, the only American-born among her siblings, coming twelve years after Patty and three after Maud. Once more, being a Blackwell means money and that means living luxuriously and well. Aside from the loss of her father in her mid-teens, she considers herself closer to their mother who apparently spends her time casually traveling about and enjoying widowhood. Well, that's just fine, why shouldn't she? Her sons, Daniel and Mikael, are incredibly important to her even while she makes them spend time with Auntie Maud. Her husband is also important to her and she considers him a friend as well. Religion does not play a strong role with her and never has, in truth. And while she lives with her husband and children, she welcomes any relation into her home, feeling close to all her cousins even if she can be incredibly blunt and callous with them. That is Blackwell love.
Freyja; is German to the bone (born in Munich) and has a blood-related twin in this life, a brother that is older to her but one that she loves very dearly. she didn't have a crazy upbringing and was doted on by her hard-working parents (they were nicely middle-class) but her very nature triggered incidents like her sleeping with her own twin, seducing those that appealed to her and wrapping her legs around her future husband until he knew he had to propose to her. Although she desired children, she had been waiting for her life to settle first with her husband. Didn't happen, clearly, as the man deserted her. It should be noted Freyja's surname is her own, not her husband's. It was she who dragged her twin to the States while they were in their late teens and then demanded he stay, make something of himself and never leave her. He does so indulge her, in every way she requires, giving her comfort when her husband left her and every wedding anniversary that he wasn't there. In ways, her twin has always been her perfect spouse. Religion was not a pressure in her family although she did go to church with them, including her husband. She still does though not because she needs guidance but because she likes to make eyes at the priest or parishioners. It's a playful, harmless wickedness.
