BTW! The female spelling of it would have an 'a' at the end of it and her patronymic would be 'Ivanovna' if her father's name was/is Ivan. There is no concept of Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms and, if I'm remembering properly, she would offer both given and patronymic instead or someone may use that. I had a character named Mikhail but he would be common referred to as Misha or Mishenka among the Russians he knew. Troilus/Vladimir would be common referred to as Vova, Volodya or Volodka. Patroclus/Aleksandr would be Sasha. Diminutives are not, as far as I know and have seen, proper given names. These nicknames are generally used among the less formal. Though, of course, among non-Russians, her given name is fine.
