Strangely, that kiss didn't throw him into a nervous panic. In fact, it had the opposite effect, Dietre was seemingly more relaxed afterwards. Most of his anxiety around people stemmed from a fear of not being liked, but being given a kiss apparently proved to him that Aurora truly enjoyed his company, and wasn't simply pitying him. Vincent would be surprised to see him now, for he looked miles away from the empty eyed, blood splattered wraith he was last night. His expressions remained muted, but now it could be seen as him just being reserved, rather than robotic.
"Uhm...Food is food?" Dietre was trying not to be rude, but it was just that he didn't put much thought into whether or not he enjoyed his meals. Eating was just what you do to not feel hungry.
"I have no preferences.." He managed a shrug, thoughts wandering to what the time may be. Could Vincent be home by now? Dietre wished the man's note had been more informative, he liked to have everything planned and mapped out, not knowing what was going on was quite upsetting.
No, Dietre didn't fixate on the exotic source of the medicine, only that medicine had been involved. Aurora seemed so vibrant that he was instantly confused, concerned over the possibility her health wasn't what it appeared to be.
"...Are you unwell, Aurora?" Ah, how serious he looked! How sweet he could be! Woe be to anyone who ever caused a cared for acquaintance of his harm.
