"Perfect!" Eos was secretly (or, perhaps, not so secretly) pleased by his choice. It really was a rich shade of blue, and it would compliment his skin tone beautifully.
Picking up a paint brush, she delicately wet the tip and dipped it into the color. Drawing a thin line across one of the corners of the canvas, she pulled up a stool and set about outlining the lines she had drawn before in charcoal.
"Pay me back?" she peeked at him, brow furrowed, "Oh don't be silly! You don't need to give me anything!" Eos blinked at his offer, strangely moved, "I... That..."
No one had offered to write a song for her before. Those things were usually reserved for the...greater gods and goddesses. But he didn't even know who she was, and he was willing to write her a song...
Eos was growing very fond of this mortal.
"I would love that very, very much." she finished softly, obviously moved as a pink flush raced across her freckled cheeks.
