With each move, Eos flowed as if her feet weren't touching the ground. She had no trouble whatsoever with clumsiness or losing her balancing - even when she was knocked from one side to another on the street, she gained her balance remarkably quickly. This trait shouldn't really come as a surprise, but it should be clear for anyone who knew her true nature that she did not belong on the Earth: the skies were her domain.
It was hard staying grounded. If she had used her wings in the city, someone would have seen her. The risk was too much. Thus she could only let them loose when she was alone in her apartment.
Which would pose a problem the moment she started following through with her plan for the mortal. Tapping her lips when she was inside, she shed her light sweater, revealing a backless top underneath it. Tattooed across her shoulder-blades were two wings just beginning to unfurl. They were the same color as her actual wings - a warm saffron, but Dietre needn't know that.
"Good!" she got him a glass of water and offered it to him graciously, "Are you sure you don't want anything else?" her voice lowered a notch, eyes fixed on him intently, "A key..." her eyes narrowed, "There isn't a room number on the key is there? I bet it's a spare." she nodded pensively, "Nevertheless, we can find his apartment..."
Hurrying over to her computer, she turned it on and curled up into the seat in front of it. Navigating her way to her e-mail, she sent Hestia a brief message...
Nina,
I found a fellow named Dietre in the lobby, and he seems to be looking for someone named Vincent. Do you know of a Vincent in this building?
Thank you!
~Aurora
Clicking the send button, she spun around and got up.
"Now, onto other matters..." Aurora's hands drifted to her hips as she observed him, "Would you be willing to sit for a portrait?"
