Morning had come magnificently, and Eos couldn't have been happier. In fact, she had celebrated the morning away by dancing in the nearest park. She had attracted odd stares, but she couldn't help herself. It was only after she had bumped into a rather surly homeless man that she had decided to tone it down a little.
Skipping down the sidewalk, hair bouncing merrily in the breeze, she grinned rather madly. People on either side of her were giving her a wide berth, which in itself was amusing. Eos didn't particularly like to be thought unattractive or weird, but these were just mortals. What did they know? They got old and turned into grasshoppers.
Oh wait. That had been her doing. Oops.
But he really had deserved it. He had been looking so...old, and decrepit. What was she suppose to do? Just let him waste away into dust? At least she had given him another form to thrive...sorta...in. Though, truly, the blame could be placed squarely on Zeus' shoulders for not following through with what she had asked. She was still rather cross with him.
That didn't do any good, however. He was the King of gods. Why should he care if she had her tail in a tizzy?
Speaking of tizzys, there had been the most delightful gods at that party last night. Eos felt her cheeks flushing just thinking about them.
Yet, her mind wasn't caught up for nearly long enough on them before she entered the Empyreal Apartments to find...
"Oh!" she exclaimed breathlessly, eyes wide with wonder.
He was a mortal.
A pretty mortal.
This was just too good to be true!
Aw, she wanted to take care of him already...
"Are you lost?" she asked playfully, bouncing up to his side and staring at the elevator with him.
