Ben placed the last novel on top of a stack of books, and handed back the library card to the teenage girl it belonged to, said goodbye with a polite smile, then turned to the next person in line.

What: Delos is sick but refuses not to open his shop

It was very early, but like almost every morning Delos was there to open the shop. He really didn’t feel very well, he was very hot and sweaty and kept sneezing. As he pulled one of the shutters up he suddenly had a coughing fit, it hurt his ribs. Obviously he had been coughing throughout the night, which is probably why he was so tired. This was quite new for Delos, he didn’t get sick often, but at least it was just a cold. Sniffling he moved to the next shutter then he could unlock the door and make tea!

It was the first night of the full moon, and unsurprisingly, as Sam didn't particularly feel like being dinner, she'd decided to avoid the forests in favour of a safer, more civilized setting. She flew around the neighborhood, getting to know it, admiring the twinkling lights decorating homes, but it wasn't long before she found herself back at the Christmas tree in the town square.

It was so sparkly, with all the tinsel and the ornaments, she swooped closer, thinking she'd grab just a little bit of tinsel - no one would notice it missing, and it would likely just be disposed of after the holidays were over anyway, right?

She caught some of the glittering foil in her beak and began to pull... and pull... and, okay, this string of tinsel was considerably longer than she'd anticipated...

What: Stefan has heard about the new vicar and goes to confront her

Stefan hadn’t been out of his flat long when he’d found a discarded flyer for some group thingy. He had actually asked someone politely what it was about and had almost laughed when he heard there was a new vicar in town running the club for losers. Hey he was an addict, but he had no problem with it!

He made his way over to the vicarage, rubbing his hands with glee. He couldn’t sense anyone there, at all! Then he stood outside the church itself. Now he was only a half demon but he hadn’t been in a church since he was a baby and had done nothing but scream the whole time. He had certainly never set foot on hallowed ground. So now he was a little apprehensive. He paced up and down a little, becoming more annoyed, nope, he just couldn’t do it.

Okay new plan. He stood squarely facing the church and shouted, loudly. “Come out Vicar! I want to meet you! Don’t hide away in your damned building, come, talk to me!”
