Describing the mood Veil was in was difficult, even for him. He was happy, of course he was. He was with his true love finally allowed to be happy and with her. But he felt unfulfilled as he trudged the streets of Mysteria. He was happy! Of course he was. Yet…?
He sighed heavily as his long lashes fluttered when he closed his eyes to pause a moment.

Opening his eyes slowly, grey eyes looked out to the people hustling about on the streets. He had been a fearless demon hunter, his anger and lust for vengeance had made him dangerous, he had been gifted by a holy sword! Yet here he was looking for a job. Why did the world only work properly for someone if they were earning money? He needed a job and unfortunately that wasn’t easy for someone without written experience and papers.

He wanted something he could love but the more he looked and the harder it got flipping burgers called mockingly to him. He shuddered imagining he could hear them jeering as he stood outside the fast food restaurant.

What: Felicity is being mean and making people socialise! But at least there is food!

Felicity made sure the food was cooking and would be ready on time, not too long after everyone arrived, because she was not the most social of creatures either... plus eating may actually stop Tristan talking... for a little while.

She walked up behind Veil and kissed his neck. Of course he had done most of the cooking, it amused her that in this life their roels had reversed for the time being, she worked and he was the home maker. They were almost a modern couple! Okay they were nowhere near a modern couple, but it was still different and a little bit odd. "Are you ready for a fun evening of 'chit-chat' and trying to keep Tristan a little quieter than usual?" She asked him wondering if everyone would be on time, after all at least Ianto had had the threat of Death if he was there at seven minutes past six!

Who: Felicity and Veil

Where: Her apartment
What: Felicity is forcing Veil, like she is with Ianto, to be social

Felicity walked through the door of her small apartment, another days work done. She wasn't even sure if the love of her lives was there, but she took a guess. He was usually there when she had arrived home. "Valentin?" She called, yes today she was going to be mean and inform im that she would be inviting a friend over for dinner one evening. Yes neither of them were very social creatures but they would live.

Where: School corridors
What: Veil drops by to dote upon his love and ends up embarrassing her

Reaching out to grasp a hand Veil managed to catch his beloved and pulled her around in a fluid motion. This impromptu dance was because he was feeling lonely without her at her tiny apartment.

He had been looking for places he, the good history teacher and Tristan could move too, but that had bored him and then he realised how much he missed her.

He decided to surprise her with a blue rose and a kiss. So he pressed a kiss to her lips and dipped her slightly smiling warmly down upon her face, “My Queen. Why is it these children must steal you from me?” He asked with a warm smile. He didn’t even realise his presence could cause upset.

What: Tristan and Veil talk

Tristan hadn't seen Veil since New Years Eve, either he wasn't in or she wasn't, they were communicating by leaving notes for eachother. She wasn't sure if Veil had been home last night but she'd stayed at Boon's again. That poor boy was never getting any sleep again. Last night he had shown her the awesoem that was tacky kung-fu movies, they rocked!

She closed the door quietly and looked around wondering in he was sleeping or not.

What: Gideon returns to The Last Round with the teens and the plan is set into motion.



Getting back to the bar had to have been the most nerve racking few minutes of Gideon's whole life. He had flown over head of the cars, chasing back any shades that might try and get near them. The whole time he was afraid that the car Bridgette was in was going to crash. It was probably a fear without reason but he couldn't help it anyway. As soon as they reached The Last Round, Gideon yelled for the door to be opened while gesturing for the kids to run.

Soon the bar as a full as it would have been during opening hours. As soon as the door closed behind them, Gideon let his wings disappear back into his back while he looked around the room. No one had gotten ate it seemed. Not only that but it looked like they had been busy why he was gonna. He could see Casey and Sophia filling up...were those squirt guns? Yeah, they were squirt guns. As soon as they filled one, Ash would bless it.

In another section of the bar he noticed a few people taking out blacklights and replacing them with a white one. Gideon could only assume they were uv ones. Both were good ideas and from the activity in the room it appeared that it hadn't been all Casey getting things ready. "So are we having a white t-shirt contest or planning to kick some ass?" Gideon's arm went around Bridgette's shoulders and he pulled her against his side. It wasn't over yet and he didn't want to let her go until it was.

Where: The Last Round
What: The employees of The Last Round are doing inventory when the eclipse hits. Gideon opens the door to The Last Round to any who wish to hide inside.



For it being just a little after noon on a week day, The Last Round was hopping. Okay, not really hopping but there was more people in it than usual. More people and more booze. Both were due to the fact that inventory was having to be done for the books. While The Last Round was there for a reason, it was still a bar and still a business. That meant it had to be kept up like one. So Gideon had hauled his employees in to help. After all, he wasn't going to do it all himself.

He was just coming out of the back room with another case when he notice it was starting to get dark outside the window. Setting the box down, Gideon went over to check it out. Who had ordered a solar eclipse? He didn't recall hearing about one. That alone told this was not going to be a good day. As long as people stayed inside they'd be safe. Bridgette was at school. So was Irene. That meant that neither one of them had a reason to go outside.

"You guys stay inside," he told the room, before going over and opening the door, looking for anyone who might be out on the streets.
