He had to keep going. His lungs and body felt like they were on fire but he had to keep going. Everyone needed to know. They needed to know and he needed help before they caught up to him and took him back. If he went back he knew it's never get out alive again. Little did he know he was going to die either way.

The werewolf stumbled through the town. He had managed to get a ride in, the only reason he hadn't tried to find the local pack's land. He could have went up to anyone but wolf was safe. Wolf would protect him. He could smell three nearby and stumbled towards their direction. They would help him. They would protect them.

He stumbled into a little shop. He didn't stop to see what the shop was. By the his vision was so blurred her couldn't see. If he had read it he would have seen it was a store called Nikki's Delights. There was only one or two people inside of the store besides the three wolves. He paid them no mind and headed straight for the wolves. He meant to grab the blonde female for she was the dominant of the three, but instead missed and grabbed the smaller female. "Help me," he whispered as he clung to her shirt. Then it started to grow dark and he passed out while the little female wolf screamed.

They Only Come Out at Night

[info]mysteria_mods
Who: NPC
When: 10pmish
Where: Cherry Street
What: A young local girl meets the new ugly.

The sound of high heels clicking on cement could be heard was Mary Jefferson hurried home from work. The bad thing about winter's in North Dakota, besides the cold, was how dark it got so early. She had heard the stories about the things that came out at night here. Vampires, werewolves, and other creatures that weren't supposed to be real. Mary had never met one herself but still she thought it best to hurry up. Hugging her purse to her chest she hurried down the empty street.

As Mary passed the street lamps on Cherry Street they started to burst one by one. When the first popped and went out, Mary jumped and covered her mouth to stop the scream from coming out of her mouth. It was just a blown light bulb. It was no big deal. Then she passed the night one and it did the same thing. Picking up her pass the young woman hurried down the street. Each street lamp she passed did the same thing and soon Mary was running down the sidewalk.

A high heel was lost as Mary picked up speed and she only paused long enough to take the other one off and toss it. Something was happening. Something was...coming. It was the only way she could describe it. There was a sense of impending doom, like something evil was after her. Hunting her. Her apartment wasn't far away. She just had to make it down the alley between two of the taller buildings.

The moment Mary turned down the small alley it was as if something had swallowed all the light. She was surrounded by darkness. Living darkness for there was something in that darkness. Or was it something was the darkness. The darkness closed in on Mary, enveloping her. A few minutes later the darkness started to recede. Mary lay on the ground. Rather what was left of Mary. A paper thin husk lay in a pile of clothing, purse lying on the chest.
