What: Phantom comes face to face with the shades and it doesn’t end well

It laid there on the cold ground in the middle of the night a shell of its former glory. A beast so majestic and beautiful in the sky was nothing more than a mummified corpse; its crumbling wingspan alone almost blocked the whole road.

Who: Deni and Phantom
When: 2 am
Where: outside Mysteria at the lakeside
What: Deni had gone to meet Phantom and told him to follow her. She wanted somewhere to talk and to go for a nice long fly with her new friend.

Deni flew over the tree tops and could see the lake stretch out in front of her. She flew down low a few feet above the very top branches. She arched her back flapping a little as her feet pulled up to her chest. She folded her wings and dropped down and grabbed a dead tree with no branches. She pulled her wings back and climbed down it towards the ground. She didn't want to have a bad landing here. Broken wings would not be good. Though she wasn't sure if her wings would just go back to normal through the day.

She walked over the shore line and sat herself down on to a boulder. She looked up at the sky waiting for Phantom to settle. There was the water he could crash in to. He could attempt her trick. Or, there was a nice lot of soft mud to land in to. But Deni didn't want to get muddy.

Who: Phantom and Open
When: 3am
Where: Around town
What: Phantom is playing in the snow
Status: Incomplete

Phantom stretched to once again find himself snow capped. He shook his head and stood properly, looking at the blanket of snow below him. He smiled. He actually quite liked the snow; he came from a cold climate so this just reminded him of his childhood. Taking to the air he flew until he found a large untouched area of snow. The air was crisp and flight was difficult, but sometimes being on the ground was more fun! Like when there was snow!

He landed with a thud and slid in the snow. Not the most graceful landing but lots of fun! He spent some time just picking up handfuls of snow and letting it melt a little before putting it back down. Running it through his fingers then making strange prints in it. To anyone watching it may seem as if he had seen this for the first time. He just liked snow. He began rolling it to build a snowman, he had seen human’s do it and always wanted to try it. He wasn’t quite getting the hang of it though, the snow wasn’t compacting enough so when he tried to pick the large bundle of snow up he ended up covering himself in it. Didn’t mean he was going to stop, each attempt got better!

Thankfully there didn’t seem to be anyone around to see the large gargoyle playing in the snow, or at least not that he’d noticed. It was a strange sight that was for sure.

Where: The church and around town
What: Phantom goes flying and returns to fight mischief afoot.
Status: Complete

Phantom stirred, it was already night, the very last traces of the sun could be seen but that would barely last a minute. He looked up at the bright night sky; it would soon be full moon, though the sky was bright with lights from the town too. Phantom sighed he knew there were places in the world where you couldn’t really see the stars for the lights, but there were also places where you could see every star and they were used as lights and to guide. Though those were becoming rarer by the year.
