What: Ash is trying to find gifts for his family and not doing too well

Ash wondered, possibly for the second time through the stores. He had to buy for his mother his father – though he didn’t want to – Red and her family, possibly just send Stefan some money and he wanted to get Tabby something.

But he had no idea what to get any of them. Though he was a very social creature he did spend a lot of time alone. So he didn’t really know people that well, certainly not to get them gifts! He sighed and scratched his head, okay eh could do this!

He headed for a store, any store!

So he needed to get mad in order to discover what the hell was going on with him?  That ought to be easy enough.  He glowered at all who walked by, hands shoved into the pockets of his dark slacks.  His mind poured over the things that had happened the past few days, and really, he couldn't understand many of them.  Perhaps he really was just a dumbass.  He was supposed to be in school but he'd decided to skip gym class.  They were swimming today and he hated swimming.  He didn't really know how very well and didn't want everyone and their brother knowing it.  Besides, he looked stupid in swimming trunks.

So he'd decided to just skip out altogether instead of putting up with it.  He sighed, taking a drag of his cigarette, looking around, feeling discouraged with the entire world, basically.
