They were running out of time. Simone had fey of all kinds scouring the Dreaming, searching for the star, the menace that had caused all of this.

Every now and again, a star fell in the Dreaming and chaos ensued. Now was such a time. It was breaking down the barriers between the Autumn world and the Dreaming, making dreams turn to reality. A wondrous gift, but given to mere humans? It became the thing nightmares were made of. The dreams in Mysteria were getting out of hand, the dragon had been proof of that. They fey gathered and tried to correct the damage, but that could only hold out for so long. Now it was time to get the star, make the wish and reverse all this.

They had been searching for only a day, but the majority of the Dreaming didn't want Mab to find the star. The UnSeelie queen had started the Wild Hunt in hopes of finding it. So far the treacherous queen had had no luck. Simone and the others meant to keep it so.

The problem was whoever found the star may abuse the power. In it was the ability to grant a wish, no matter how twisted or selfish, whether it defied nature or no. Such power could twist even the purest souls. She couldn't give them that chance, she had to find the star herself.

Simone called her power over the darkness, searched through the endless black. Maia found her that way.

"Simone! I think we've found something! The trees tell me of a crystal, please, follow me!" The nymph ushered Simone with her, going through the deep woods. Light was beginning to break across the sky. Simone's power would be useless if it did. She followed Maia as she listened to the trees, allowing them to guide her.

They stepped into the clearing where the trees had been ravaged by a force from the sky. The dawning light filtered through the crystal, shining upon them. Simone immediately stepped forward. "Maia, we've found it!" She picked it up, holding the pure light in her hands. It illuminated her and she felt it's power rush through her being.

She could have it all. Everything she's ever wanted. Her home, her family, anything. The world.

Simone closed her eyes and began to phrase her wish right. "I wish-" She began....

What: Assessing the damage

Every instinct in Maia's being told her to go outside, start the repair. Her trees. But right now there was more important things. Zeke still hadn't come home. She was worried until she was physically sick. She had to get herself under control, be strong.

Would this be what it was like every time something happened? The fear, the worry? She accepted all of Zeke when she agreed to marry him. She wasn't having doubts, just worried about her strength, her ability to take it. Could she? Could she be strong enough for them?

She sat outside and waited for Zeke, ignoring the rain, the chill in the air. She just wanted him home. Nothing else mattered.

When: 9am, after the fires have been put out

What: A call to arms

Simone had called this meeting. Gathered all the fey she could find that was hiding in Mysteria and brought them there. Sides and standing didn't matter. They had a larger problem at hand. Such things didn't matter now.

The Wild Hunt had begun. She would bet her life that the queen was looking for the star. The fallen star in the Dreaming that had caused all of this. Now humans were getting trapped in a dream state and the only city near the Mound was burning. They had to stop it. She silenced the squabbling with a whistle.

"That is enough. Don't you see what's happening here? The Dreaming is in chaos. The mortal world is slowly falling into ruin as well. The Wild Hunt has began, and we all know what that means. The Wyldefae will be forced to choose or die, and god knows what will happen if the queen gets her hands on the star. We have to take action, and we have to do it now." Her voice was strong and authoritative, the kind of voice that made the others really listen, want the change. "We go into the Dreaming. We find the star. We stop this madness."

"But how will we find it?" A brownie asked meekly, as if afraid of Simone's wrath.

"We work together of course. Pool all of our resources, feuds and squabbles aside. The first one to find it? You will wish for things to return to their rightful state. This is too important not to. We're talking about the Dreaming itself, life as we all know it. We don't have time or chances for anything else. This is it. Now. Who's in?"

What: Maia goes to check on Lara and finds that someone beat her to the punch

It was three am and Maia was driving to see Lara. She tried to leave a message on Zeke's phone, but the towers near her house must have been knocked down, she couldn't get through. She knew Zeke would be okay, or hoped anyway and couldn't just sit at home. She had to do something. So she got dressed and went to Lara's house to check on her sister and nephew.

Walked into the complex and knocked on Lara's door, urgently, trying to wake her up.

Maia had stayed behind after school to help the children. Something was going on in Mysteria. She had a sudden influx of students who were suddenly so sure that their nightmares were real. Spiders crawling out of the walls to more disturbing things, such as monsters. All of it so real. They were sure they had seen something. No two were the same, but the theme was; all nightmares that were alive.

She knew just the person to ask about this. Zeke, her fiance. He would know, he was a hunter and had a connection to the very earth itself. If anyone knew something was up, it was him.

She put her things down and kicked off her shoes. She let her hair down and shook it out. "Zeke? Are you home?"

Simone had her petition ready for the principal when she, Irene, and Eva made their presentation. She was eager to start it. She wanted the kids to have a constructive creative outlet, and drama seemed perfect. Give kids that felt like they didn't belong a chance to shine.

"Eva! You're early, that's wonderful!" Simone said when she saw one of her favorite students, "Come inside while we wait for Irene. It's freezing out here."

It was after school and Tate had been out practising on the track again to make the team and was well on his way to getting back up to his peak after being kept back by his appendix operation not so long ago. His grades were still high, his sporting achievements were going well and he did have his circle of friends. He also had a new man in his life and things with him were going well too!

So why was he made to feel like crap by a couple of idiotic students. He shouldn’t have to feel bad just for liking men!

So he was walking, very slowly down the corridor in the vain hope that perhaps a teacher may take pity upon him.

Maia went up through the Last Round, higher still to see Irene. She had brought her wedding planner books, and the binder that Irene suggested she get. She had no idea how badly she would need one. She and Zeke weren't running on a lot of money, but she had told her family that had adopted her when she first came out of the Dreaming and they were thrilled. They insisted on helping. So she had a bit bigger of a budget and no idea what to do with it. Luckily, she also had a friend.

She knocked on the door and said, "Irene? Irene it's me Maia."

Maia walked into Nikki's intending to get a coffee before her first class, when she saw the familiar face of Kherington, Zeke's friend. Maia would admit to being a little jealous of the pretty brunette, so she figured there was only one way to stop it. Talk to her. Afterall, she and Zeke were getting married, it was good to know his friends.

"Hello," She said nicely, "I don't believe we've met. I'm Maia Reid."

What: It's lunchtime at school.

Irene curled up on one of the plush couches in the teacher's lounge, picking through her lunch as she read over the list of do's and don'ts for eating while pregnant. The feta cheese in her salad was out. But everything else seemed fine, so she folded the list and slid it back in her pocket before reaching for the vitamins she'd left on the table.

The prenatal vitamins from Hope tasted awful and were as large as horse pills, but she gladly took them, turning in mid-swallow as the door opened, then waving cheerily at Maia before setting them back on the coffee table.

What: Zeke comes to the school to confront Maia about something she forget to tell him about nymphs...



Anger seemed to roll off Ezekiel as he strode across the school grounds, tremors shaking the earth beneath his feet with each footfall. He was too angry to notice. Furious. Hard to believe that only a scant half hour previous he'd been in a relatively mellow frame of mind, but that had been before his conversation with Maia's sister, Lara, who'd been telling him about how she'd gotten into her predicament, and about how Nymphs were conceived with human men and then taken away to the dreaming to be raised.

Entering the the school, he stomped through the halls until he found Maia's classroom. Opening the door, he paid no heed to the art class he was interrupting, and strode directly to his fiancée.

"We need to talk Maia," He growled angrily, leaving no room for argument, "Now."

What: Delos is finally getting to know his new job.

Well he had had a very productive day so far. He had hired someone to work in his store so that got to be open properly again, though he still needed at least one more person, but it was a start. Then he had headed over to the school and the principle had shown him around and to his office, currently he would be working there three days a week, which meant he could still work in the store until he got someone else in and make sure things were kept stocked seen as he made almost everything for it himself.

But he figured it was time to get to know the teachers it was their students he would be working with anyhow. He walked through the hall ways to the teachers lounge and knocked on the door before popping his head inside. "Hello?" He said with a shy smile.

What: An unexpected reunion



Lara wandered around the furniture store, looking for a crib for her baby. Not that she'd found a permanent place to live yet, but even if she was still in the B&B when the baby came, he'd have to have somewhere to sleep.

Standing between two cribs, Lara was trying to decide which was better.

What: Ty reluctantly goes to school to take his placement exams



Having brought a reluctant Tyson to the high school for enrolment, Miles had left the boy there once he was locked in a room with a stack of exam papers. It'd taken a couple of hours, and some subjects had been fairly easy, while other subjects had been more difficult for Ty, who hadn't attended school since he was fourteen years old.

Finally finished with the tests, Ty stood up with a sigh and took his filled in exam papers to the school counsellor, "Done."

What: The teachers catch up after the christmas break.

Felicity walked into the teachers lounge and shut the door leaning on it as if some evil creature was following and sighed. "I had forgotten they were always so rowdy after Christmas break." She said and then went to sit down.

Perhaps she wasn't mean her usual mean self and the students in her callses were just taking advantage of that, though they were always worse between classes when they seemed to think they were free of the teachers wrath.

The Christmas decorations had been taken down and replaced with one for the party. The bar actually looked festive. Of course Gideon hadn't done it himself. He had had a couple of the employees do it. Still, it looked nice. The bar had been open for a while now but the party was just now set to start. Which was way Gideon was coming down the stairs dressed as a preacher.

It was Ben's first day working at Mysteria Library and having just finished the current shelving, he was situated behind the front counter, checking in recently returned books and familiarizing himself with the computer system.
