Like so many in Mysteria, Harper had been having nightmares. They weren't anything too horrible, not like some were having. She just kept dreaming that she had shifted into the wolf and was stuck in that form. So when she woke up in bed in her form wolf, to say she was a bit freaked was an understatement. She tried shifting back even though it was dangerous to do without Jeremy but couldn't. In the end she ended up laying down with her head on her paws and whining.

Who: Jeremy, Harper, Brian, Isabel, Connor, Max, Casey, Sophia, Brooke, and Anna.

What: Harper fixes Sunday dinner.



Harper had been on a cooking rampage lately and had decided to bring the Alphas and Betas and their mates together for dinner. Jeremy had the biggest cabin so she had taken over his kitchen to cook with everyone gathering later to eat. Everyone was starting to roll in as Harper was chasing her brother out of the kitchen...again.

"Jeremy Caine I swear if you don't get out of this kitchen and leave the food alone that I'm going to whack you with a frying pan," Harper threatened as she smacked Jeremy's hands out of a bowl.

"Aww, come on Harp. Just a little nibble."

"No! Now go do something constructive like set the table."

What: The pack gets in touch with their inner party animals.



The sun was starting to set and in the middle of the clearing in front of the first row of cabins was a large bonfire. Jeremy's cabin was open to all. Coolers filled with soda and beer covered the front porch. Inside the table in the kitchen and the counters were covered with food that Harper and a few others had been busy cooking all day. There was just about anything you could think of food wise and plenty of it. Music filled the air out side and chairs had been placed around the fire.

The pack was whole. The pack was healthy. It was time to celebrate, even if it was still the middle of winter.

Where: Brian's cabin
What: Harper's got the shot... but will she wake up?

Frozen at her side, as he had been most of the days she'd been out, Brian watched Harper intently, waiting for her to show some sign of rousing from her coma. Hope had been by, delivering a serum that she said would attack the virus or... something. He couldn't concentrate much on what the blonde doctor had said. He was beginning to wear down from the lack of sleep.

But he wouldn't give in to it now. Not when they could be so close. Running his thumb over Harper's cheek, he sent a silent prayer up to... well he didn't know what. And, he waited.

Where: Brian's Cabin
What: Harper is feeling worse and Raven stops by to see what she can do.



Never in her life had Harper felt like this. Sure she had problems with her heart but she never felt this horrible. Never before had she thrown up in her life and now it seemed it was all she did. She couldn't keep food down. The sheets of the bed had to keep being changed because she kept soaking them with sweat from the fever she was running, and yet even when she was burning up, she felt like she was freezing. It hurt to move and so she was content to stay put in Brian's bed. Harper had no plans of crawling out it anytime soon. She was sure that Brian had said something about Raven coming back to make it better but she couldn't remember if that had been yesterday or today.

When: After accepted proposal!
What: Harper takes some tests, and tries to learn about the sneezing.

"Dr. Cale?" Brian asked as a young-looking woman approached them. She even looked angelic, though that had nothing to do with actually being one, of course. He was mostly hoping it wasn't another nurse telling them to be patient. They'd been waiting in the waiting room for what felt like him to be forever. That other wolf was in a coma and they were just sitting here, doing nothing!

What: Brian's got some things on his mind.

"My albums are in the other room, I'll grab them in a minute. In the meantime, can I get you anything - coffee, tea, some of my famous beef goulash?" Nadia offered Harper with a grin, figuring the werewolf woman was probably just as hungry as she was.

Who: The Pack
When: Just before the moon is fully up.
Where: The pack lands
What: The pack gathers for a run.



It was cold out. You wouldn't know it from the looks of those gathered around. Jeremy was standing around in nothing but sweat pants and some house slippers. The cold didn't bother him much. The moon would be up soon and his skin felt like it was fire. The pack around him was dressed much the same.

His eyes searched the group looking for Sophia. It would be her first night running free on a full moon and he wanted to make sure that she stayed close.

Who: Harper and Brian
When: Around 9pm
Where: Back at the cabins
What: Harper decides to spend Christmas eve with Brian



For a while Harper ran with the pack. She was always the last one. The one bringing up the rear. She couldn't run the way Jeremy could to run at the front nor did she hold the position in pack to be allowed to do so. So when she decided to turn back and go find Brian, it made it easy to just drop off the end and turn around.

Her first stop was her own cabin that she shared with Jeremy. Leaping up into one of the chairs on the porch, she knocked the Christmas wreath that was hanging on the front of the house down then jumped off the chair. Pushing it up with her nose, she poked her head through it until it hung around her neck like an oversized Christmas collar.

Now decorated for the holiday, she trotted towards the cabin she knew Brian was in. Sitting on the porch of it, she lifted her muzzle to the sky and started to sing carols, something a wolf should never do.

He had to keep going. His lungs and body felt like they were on fire but he had to keep going. Everyone needed to know. They needed to know and he needed help before they caught up to him and took him back. If he went back he knew it's never get out alive again. Little did he know he was going to die either way.

The werewolf stumbled through the town. He had managed to get a ride in, the only reason he hadn't tried to find the local pack's land. He could have went up to anyone but wolf was safe. Wolf would protect him. He could smell three nearby and stumbled towards their direction. They would help him. They would protect them.

He stumbled into a little shop. He didn't stop to see what the shop was. By the his vision was so blurred her couldn't see. If he had read it he would have seen it was a store called Nikki's Delights. There was only one or two people inside of the store besides the three wolves. He paid them no mind and headed straight for the wolves. He meant to grab the blonde female for she was the dominant of the three, but instead missed and grabbed the smaller female. "Help me," he whispered as he clung to her shirt. Then it started to grow dark and he passed out while the little female wolf screamed.

What: Brian has a gift from his mother and a yearning to see Harper.

It's hard to stay hidden from a were who not only has your scent ingrained in her mind from bearing you, but also has the added advantage of pregnancy making her nose even more sensitive. Brian's mom had found him quite easily the morning after he left Harper's cabin and spent the night in an empty one. He'd spent the whole day and most of the night being lectured and then hugged, and then lectured some more. Being under his parents' roof was like being 13 again. Not something he relished.

Waking up today, he was happy to smell his mother's signature dishes. Cooking was always a sign that she was happy. As he'd come into the kitchen, she'd thrust a basket into his arms, demanding he take it to Harper and Jeremy immediately. He didn't need to be told twice to leave the Cabin of Perpetual Adolescence.

Ever have one of those days that when you got home you wished you could just turn around, walk back out the door, and pretend you had never actually walked in the door to start with? Jeremy was having one of those days. The moment he cracked the door open he smelled it. The doorknob was going to have be replace for his hand tighten on it and his fingers ended up leaving dents in the metal. Since he hadn't gotten any panicked calls from Brian says he had managed to kill Harper, that left less worry and more room for anger. Anger that seemed to fill the room as he stepped into the cabin. "Brian get your ass out here," he yelled.

What: Brian comes into town for supplies

Brian dropped his pack in the grocery, nodding to the man behind the counter. He had an almost-standing order of supplies that came in this time of the month, containing everything he'd need. Matches, food, some drugs just in case. Everything was covered. The grocer would have his pack full before he finished visiting around town. "I'll be a little late, I want to check out the tree," he smiled before he ducked out.

He was exhausted. He'd spent nearly four weeks camping with a group near St. Michael, and almost two months before that at Fort Totten. He hadn't had a proper hair cut in four months, when he was last in Mysteria. Luckily, the groups he guided brought food for him as well. But now his food supplies at the cabin were dangerously low, and he'd come straight to town after his group had left.

Reaching the town square, his face fell. "Dammit, I missed it again," he said, mostly to himself, as he looked at the tree in all her glory.

Looking around

This town was still so new to him, but it would not take him long to learn it. Travis stood upon the side walk, glancing about as if he was lost. But he wasn’t, he was just familiarizing himself with the town. He had been dispatched to this town to keep an eye on it. He was less than impressed by this place, but looks didn’t matter. He had heard a few rumors about this place, all of which he believed was true.

It was hard to doubt that anything was true when you knew of the existence of so many different types of creatures. He pulled his coat tighter to protect himself from the cold. Feeling his cell phone in his pocket vibrating, it was a text message but he just decided that he would check it later. He started to walk down the sidewalk. He still had a few hours before his things arrived, so it was best to just learn the landscape for now.

Where: The courtyard outside of Irene's apartment.
What: The Christmas spirit goes boom!

It was Friday afternoon, and Irene had the rest of the weekend in front of her. Her week at Mysteria High had been crazy to say the least. She needed the time to relax. So what was she doing? Hauling a Christmas tree taller and heavier than she was from her car to the front door. It hadn't even occurred to her to use her elemental powers, and truth be told, she was enjoying the pine scent in her face. Just not the giant tree that came with the pine scent. Back in the car were more pine-scented and Christmas-y things, including two boxes of ornaments, a miniature tree, and mistletoe. She was ready. For. Christmas. And next week she was to chaperone the Christmas Dance, so she'd purchased attire for that as well.

Of course, now she just needed to buy gifts. She was so preoccupied, thinking of what to get, that she forgot about the icy patch she'd been bypassing since her second day in North Dakota. With a startled cry, her feet slipped from under her and her back hit the ground. Adding to the insult, the tree fell smack on top of her, trapping her a little under its weight as she fought to get the wind that had been knocked out of her back.

What: Jeremy tracks down Elena and doesn't like where she had ended up.



It had taken Jeremy a little bit longer than he would have liked to have picked up Elena's trail. He had ended up putting clothes on after Harper had pointed out she might still be running around as a human. So Harper had ended up being the one to shift, something Jeremy had to help her with. Both had tracked through the woods and ended up at the home of the lone wolf who had came into town without speaking with Jeremy's father. A growl sounded in Jeremy's throat as he marched up to the door, Harper at his heels, and pounded on the door.
