I Hope You Dance

[info]mysteria_mods
Who: Open to All
When: 7pm and on
Where: Mysteria High's Gym
What: Winter Dance for students of all grades.

The doors to the gym had opened a few minutes before seven since there had already been students waiting. The bleachers in the gym had been pushed back to give plenty of room for a dance floor. One side held some tables and chairs and at the back of the room was a table that held the punch. From the ceiling hung glittering snowflakes that sparkled when the dim lighting hit them. Ballons were spread through out and the walls had been made to look like a winter wonderland.

((Fell free to make your own subthreads within the scene.))

Who: Irene and her fellow HS teachers
When: lunch
Where: teacher's lounge
What: lunch in the teacher's lounge! chit chat, etc

Pulling her lunch from the communal fridge, Irene settled into one of the couches, propping her legs up on the coffee table and scooting down as she ripped open her yogurt and dug in. This weekend had been so much fun, especially last night. She was in a great, glowing mood. Even a few rowdy students had been unable to ruffle her feathers today. She was on cloud nine and a half.

Licking her spoon clean before she took another bite, she pointed the metal utensil at Jeremy. "You know, Ah met your sister this weekend. Sweet, darlin' girl."

Forget the bears, don't feed the wolves.

[info]dark_hunter
Who: Jeremy and Guen
When: Lunch Time
Where: The Teacher's Lounge
What: Working on decorations for the dance is hard work and the two stop to refuel.

Lunch time. That time when teachers got to lock themselves away in their secret club house away from their students. At least during the week anyway. It was also the most important meal of the day for a werewolf. Alone with breakfast, dinner, and snacks in between. In a way, werewolves were a bit like hobbits when it came to food.

Lunch in hand, Jeremy sat down across from Guen. The students loved her and he couldn't blame them. "What's for lunch today, Ms Rose?" Then he grinned. It looked like there was glitter stuck in her hair. Again.
