What: Maia goes to check on Lara and finds that someone beat her to the punch

It was three am and Maia was driving to see Lara. She tried to leave a message on Zeke's phone, but the towers near her house must have been knocked down, she couldn't get through. She knew Zeke would be okay, or hoped anyway and couldn't just sit at home. She had to do something. So she got dressed and went to Lara's house to check on her sister and nephew.

Walked into the complex and knocked on Lara's door, urgently, trying to wake her up.

Who: Kate and open to witches and familiars
When: 5pm.
Where: Kate's Office.
What: Kate calls a coven meeting.



Kate had never felt more alone in her life that she did right now. She had finally broke down and told her parents. Her mother had cried and then when she was done she had blamed it on the magic. Kate had walked out of the house and hadn't even called her parents since. They were the only ones besides Edmond and Hope that knew. Edmond was there for her but most of the time he was around she felt so torn. On one hand she wanted to reach out and grab what could possibly be the last chance of love in her life and on the other hand she kept telling herself it wasn't fair to him since her life span had shortened even more.

The chemotherapy treatments she had started where making her feel even worse than the cancer did. The cancer was too aggressive for any other treatment and so Kate spent most of her time vomiting her insides out. Food was no longer appealing and usually the only time she did eat was when Edmond was around to make her.

Today she had stared at herself in the mirror for a while before she decided that she didn't look like something the cat dragged in and it would be safe to actually see people for a change. Since it had been a while since they had gotten together, she had picked up the phone and called the other witches in town to get together. Her plan was to surround herself with chatter so that at least for a little while she could forget.

Where: Lara & Jordan's New Apartment
What: Decorating the Nursery



Lara cradled her infant son Dylan in her arms as she looked around the walk-in-robe she was going to convert into a small nursery for her son, "Well kiddo, at least you'll be close by. Not to mention you'll have plenty of shelf space... And maybe Evan will have some ideas..."

Not that she was ready to have Dylan sleep in a separate room yet, even if it was only three meters away from her bed and adjoined directly to her own room.

Hearing the doorbell ring, she went to the door and opened it, a genuine smile lighting her face when she saw her visitors, "Hey Sprite, Evan. Come on in."

What: Lara's going into labour



One hand rubbing at the ache in her back, and the other resting on her belly, Lara stood in front of a shop window, examining a baby mobile hanging in the display, "What do you think baby? Would you like that hanging over your cradle?"

The response, while not entirely unexpected, still came as a surprise, water gushing out from between her legs and splashing onto the pavement beneath her feet. Gasping, Lara clutched the wall for support.

It was time.

What: Kate pops in to visit Evan.

Kate needed someone to talk to. Not just anyone would do either. She needed another witch. Not just any witch would do either. She needed someone who might know what she needed to know. She needed another experienced witch and the first one that came to mind was Evan.

She stopped by the diner first and got them some lunch since it was her lunch hour also. Then she headed for his office for a surprise visit.

What: Lara goes for a walk on the shore of Devil's Lake



After leaving the Spa, Lara didn't have anything else she really needed to do, so she followed her instinct and wandered (well, waddled really) down to the lake shore. Spotting a piece of refuse floating in the water a few meters out, she carefully crouched down, and dipped her fingers into the water, crooking them. At her beckoning, the tide responded promptly, delivering the soggy plastic bag to her hand.

Drawing it out of the water she smiled to herself, "Much better."

Now she just had to stand up again...

What: Evan takes his daughter Selena to play at the park

Selena was on the monkey bars again. For the life of him, Evan couldn't get that girl to stop playing on them, not that he was really inclined. "Careful darling," Evan told his daughter, his thick Welsh accent making his warning a little more melodious than the other parents calling out to their kids.

He sat back on the bench, watching, making sure that his precious baby girl wasn't getting into a position where she'd hurt herself, sitting next to someone he'd never met, though he had been in Mysteria for three years.

"Do you mind?" He asked.
