What: Savannah makes a bad choice. Luckily she's got people to come to her rescue

I shouldn't be doing this. That's all Savannah was thinking as she rode in the cab with Devon to the Devil's Lake airport. He wouldn't forgive her. Drew. It was all she could think about. His words from the previous night came back to her. "Unless it was 100% premeditated." Well, here it was. She had to. She had no choice. She couldn't risk this.

"Our flight leaves in a half hour. Won't you be glad to get out of this dump?" Devon asked far too cheerily. In his warped mind, it was only a matter of time before he had everything he wanted. Sure Savvy was mad now, but she'd get over it.

"No, I won't. This is my fucking life you're playing with Devon. Don't make me do this," She begged again. Useless, but she had to.

"I told you. I'm in too deep. I need your connections and skill to pull off this job. Then your'e clear. You can go back to middle of goddamn nowhere and be happy." Yep, Devon was way too cheerful.

"You bastard," Savannah glared, trying not to cry. She knew Drew must be worried by now. She had been gone a day and a half and didn't bother to tell him where. She couldn't. She would explain everything when she got back.

Where: The Break and Run
When: 7pm
What: Here comes trouble....

Savannah was working, waiting tables, finally something legit. She had done it before, but lately she couldn't help but think how much easier it had been when she was doing things dangerous. She had her routine, her school, her boyfriend, her sister. Life was fine. She didn't need the danger.

But danger found her. Or was trying to. Devon had been calling her for weeks, trying to get in touch with her. She resisted. She left that stuff behind in the old neighborhood. Gone was the Savannah who was always up for a late night car jacking, drinking binge, and god knew what else. She was so sure that the life was behind her, she thought herself hallucinating when she heard a familiar voice say, "Nine to five gigs are so not you Savvy-baby."

Devon. No-no-no! She tried not to panic, but couldn't help it. She spun to face him and asked, "Dev, what the hell are you doing here?"

"That any way to treat your partner in crime? Give me some love!" He said and enveloped her in a big hug. She hugged him back a bit, but wasn't fooled.

"You did not come all the way to North Da-fucking-kota just to say you missed me. What's going on?" She demanded, crossing her arms. People had begun to stare and they both took notice after a second.

"I get off in fifteen, wait for me," She said, then went to her tables and asked Tessa if she could clock out early.

Who: Taini and Open
When: Mid day
Where: Streets of Mysteria
What: Taini wonders what her fate is.

Her Master had been pretty preoccupied of late and fairly absent from Taini’s existence. She was at his old apartment having to dodge his land lord and convince people he was still living there until money ran out and she’d have to someone keep the place. She just couldn’t go and live up with the wolves up in the woods. She had few enough connections in the real world let alone to abandon it all.
However the sweet boy she had hoped she could have had something with wasn’t around anymore. She was feeling lonely and isolated again. She was wondering if she’d ever get her freedom. She hugged herself as she spun around. She was sure something had been up her back. Was the street getting narrower? Were things literally closing in on her?!

She gasped again and dropped the armful of shopping bags she had. She didn't need to eat, but fatty things and creamy things were good comfort food. She knew she was just imagining things now and now all her food was scattered across the floor! A tub of chips rolled up to someones foot.

What: Eva drops in to see Adam and give him a progress report



After leaving Izzy and Jeremy's cabin, Eva decided to drop in on Adam. She needed to give him an update on her progress, he wanted to keep his affliction a secret, so she hadn't brought it up at school, and she didn't have his phone number, so that was why she was going to see him. That was the only reason. Really.

She stepped up onto the porch of Adam's cabin, and raised her hand to knock on his door.

Who: Adam & Eva (open to Savvy, Drew & Cleo once they get back)
When: After School
Where: From Mysteria High School to Eva's apartment.
What: Walking home from school.



Tucking the school books she'd need for that nights homework into her satchel, Eva winced when the strap of her bag scraped across the abraded skin on her palms, as she heaved the satchel onto her shoulder.

She'd been too tired to put any healing ointment on the cuts and scrapes when she'd gotten home the night before, and after finally drifting off, she'd slept fitfully, plagued by nightmares, and when she'd awoken, she oddly seemed to have even more injuries than she remembered noticing the night before. Running late for school, she hadn't had time to find the magic healing ointment before she left, so was still wearing the war wounds.

Now Evalina was finally headed home, looking forward to nothing more than taking a long soak in a bath infused with healing magic.

What: A witch gets attacked by a demon and saved by a were-panther



Having just come off shift from work at the Break & Run, Eva was about to call Savvy or Drew for a lift when she noticed her cellphone was dead. She was about to turn around and head back inside to use the phone, when a guy came out of the pool hall, "Hey Eva. You headed home?"

Eva looked up at the guy, recognizing him from school. He'd always seemed nice, so she smiled at him easily, "Hiya Will. Yeah, 'cept my phone is dead," She glanced inside and saw the guys who'd been getting a little handsy with her while she was working, "Hey do you mind if I borrow yours to call for a lift?"

"Don't have one, sorry," He shook his head with a wry smile, then tilted his head to one side, "But I can walk you home, if you like."

"Thanks, you're a lifesaver," She said gratefully, "It's this way..."

There was something different about Will, but Eva couldn't quite put her finger on what it was. A new haircut, maybe? She was still trying to figure out what it was when he grabbed her arm and pulled her into an alley, shoving her roughly up against the wall. And that's when he changed, his face morphing before her eyes, even his hands changing as he slapped one over her mouth to stop her scream.

She bit down hard on it, lifting her knee and slamming it between his legs at the same time, uttering the final word on a knock-back spell and sending him flying back. Problem was, he was still between her and the only way out of the alley, and recovering fast. She was trying to cast a spell to freeze him in place when he lunged toward her again...

What: The start of the drama club!


Simone had her petition ready for the principal when she, Irene, and Eva made their presentation. She was eager to start it. She wanted the kids to have a constructive creative outlet, and drama seemed perfect. Give kids that felt like they didn't belong a chance to shine.

"Eva! You're early, that's wonderful!" Simone said when she saw one of her favorite students, "Come inside while we wait for Irene. It's freezing out here."

Where: Nikki's Delights
What: Eva enlists the help of a couple of her teachers for a school activity


After spending the morning hitting the books at the library, Eva decided to drop into Nikki's Delights for a Mocha. Her mind was on Isabel's dance studio, and more specifically, all the activities she'd kept herself busy with back in New Jersey. Dance classes, drama club, She missed it. IzzyB had offered to give her discount rates for dance classes, which was awesome, because Eva's money went toward rent, bills and food, these days. Still, she missed her true love, drama, most of all.

After placing her order, she turned around and scanned the café, looking for a seat. She started toward the last empty table, and reached it just as someone else did, glancing up, she recognized one of her school teachers, "Oh, hiya!" She smiled, "You can have the table if you want."

Who: Kate and open to witches and familiars
When: 5pm.
Where: Kate's Office.
What: Kate calls a coven meeting.



Kate had never felt more alone in her life that she did right now. She had finally broke down and told her parents. Her mother had cried and then when she was done she had blamed it on the magic. Kate had walked out of the house and hadn't even called her parents since. They were the only ones besides Edmond and Hope that knew. Edmond was there for her but most of the time he was around she felt so torn. On one hand she wanted to reach out and grab what could possibly be the last chance of love in her life and on the other hand she kept telling herself it wasn't fair to him since her life span had shortened even more.

The chemotherapy treatments she had started where making her feel even worse than the cancer did. The cancer was too aggressive for any other treatment and so Kate spent most of her time vomiting her insides out. Food was no longer appealing and usually the only time she did eat was when Edmond was around to make her.

Today she had stared at herself in the mirror for a while before she decided that she didn't look like something the cat dragged in and it would be safe to actually see people for a change. Since it had been a while since they had gotten together, she had picked up the phone and called the other witches in town to get together. Her plan was to surround herself with chatter so that at least for a little while she could forget.

Who: Samantha & Spencer (with brief appearance by Eva)
When: Early Evening.
Where: Isabel, Kenzie & Mysti's apartment.
What: the DA needs to discuss a few things with a witness to a crime.



Samantha had been trying to contact Spencer Rayne all day, but reaching him by phone was proving difficult, as the number she had been given for him was actually the number of a Miss Clarissa Williams. And while the old dame Clarissa seemed to be quite the firecracker, she was unfortunately of absolutely no help whatsoever when it came to the case Sam was trying to build.

Where: Various parts of Mysteria
When: 9am
What: Looking for a dance studio


Isabel had her papers scattered all over the jeep, Eva by her side, Savannah in the back. They were looking at studios for lease, a place that Isabel could call her own. She enlisted her former roommate and new friends in the job of helping her find a suitable one.

"So," She asked Eva, "Where's first on the list? I hope you guys don't mind hanging out with me for the day, I intend to keep you until I find the perfect place."

"We're cool, right Eva?" Savannah chimed in, "You bought us coffee, we're having a girl day. Drew can live without me today, but remind me to call him in case I forget." She had shut off her phone to avoid unwanted calls.

"Good," She grinned, "So what's first up Eva?"

When: Afternoon
Where: Starting at their building and going from there.
What: Girls gotta shop!



Coming back from school, Eva only stopped at the apartment long enough to change out of her school clothes and into her black pants and Break & Run t-shirt, which she'd need to be wearing later, then layered a snug sweater over the top, and grabbed her jacket.

Arriving as she had, with just the clothes on her back and those she could fit in her backpack, she needed more clothes. Savvie had encouraged her to borrow from her wardrobe, but she still felt a little wierd about that, especially when Drew saw the her in her sisters clothes from behind and mistook her for Savannah.

Finding her bag, she opened the door and stepped out into the hall. Seeing her friend and neighbour, she broke into a smile, "Hey Kenz!"

What: Breakfast!



Drew hummed happily to himself as he made breakfast, his robe swaying as he moved from island to fridge to stove. It was Saturday, he was in his very own place, and life was good. He'd even gotten to practice some spells, one of which was keeping the waffles he'd already made warm while he cooked up scrambled eggs and some bacon.

The coffee finished, and he almost dove for a mug, filling it and downing the entire thing black before making another the way he liked it. Then he made two more and set the same warming spell on them. This was fun. He did a little shimmy before going back to the stove, unaware he was being watched.

What: Cleo meets her witch!

Cleo was finally getting a job, which was exactly what she needed. She was going to prove to her mother that she could do this, that she could stand on her own. Though her mother would be arriving soon, she was still determined. Then on her way, she saw none other...than her witch Eva!

Now, she said she would keep a safe distance from her witch, or her father said it was a good idea....but Cleo couldn't resist. She walked over to her and accidentally-on purpose knocked into her.

"Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't spill anything on you did I?" Cleo said, grinning brightly.

Who: Zeke & Maia (open to school students and staff)
When: School Hours, mid morning.
Where: Mysteria High
What: Zeke comes to the school to confront Maia about something she forget to tell him about nymphs...



Anger seemed to roll off Ezekiel as he strode across the school grounds, tremors shaking the earth beneath his feet with each footfall. He was too angry to notice. Furious. Hard to believe that only a scant half hour previous he'd been in a relatively mellow frame of mind, but that had been before his conversation with Maia's sister, Lara, who'd been telling him about how she'd gotten into her predicament, and about how Nymphs were conceived with human men and then taken away to the dreaming to be raised.

Entering the the school, he stomped through the halls until he found Maia's classroom. Opening the door, he paid no heed to the art class he was interrupting, and strode directly to his fiancée.

"We need to talk Maia," He growled angrily, leaving no room for argument, "Now."

When: Around the Witching Hour

What: Eva gets caught in the act!



It was nearing midnight when Eva crept out of Kenzie & Izzy-B's apartment and slipped across the hall to the one that, as of tomorrow, she'd be sharing with Savannah and her sister's boyfriend Drew. For now though, it was still empty, which was perfect because Eva needed to do something before they moved in.

Opening the door she laughed softly when she felt the velvet rub of cat fur against her ankles as she stepped inside, "Hey Lil Miss Cleo," Eva crouched briefly to scritch the cat behind her ears, "Okay, you can come in, but you have to promise not to get too close to the candle flames, okay?"

Starting by opening up all the windows in the apartment, she then set up a ring of candles around her as she sat cross-legged on the floor, chanting softly as she crushed a mixture of herbs together in a small mortar and pestle. Lighting an charcoal disk in a small censer, she sprinkled the incense onto it, then opened her circle and started pacing the room, her footsteps following a a spiralling widdershins path outwards, as she chanted an incantation to banish any bad vibes that may be lingering in the apartment from its previous tenants...

What: Eva's first day at Mysteria High



Eva had been wandering the halls looking for her classroom when she spotted a girl down the other end of the hallway with long dark hair who, from behind could've been Savannah. Abandoning her search for her classroom, she'd run after her, following her through several hallways before catching up. When she'd finally caught a look at the girl's face, Eva's heart sank, realising it wasn't her sister after all.

Sighing she turned away, and began to try and retrace her steps, but she hadn't really paid any attention to where she was going when she ran after the girl, and now she was lost. Stopping, she turned in a slow circle, trying to figure out where she was, and which way she had to go to get to where she needed to be.

Where: Break & Run
What: GRAND OPENING.

With a flourish, Tessa flipped the neon light that shone out onto the streets of Mysteria from off to on, turning back to grin at Eva. "We are now officially open," she said with a giddy grin, looking eagerly toward the door.

What: Taylor is stocking books, working hard.

Ever since Ben had been promoted to head librarian, Taylor found herself taking on more and more hours at the library. She liked this place, where she knew that everyone was naturally quiet anyway. She'd approached her boss this morning, and now she was working full time. A real job. Her parents would be mortified.

It would help Xan, though, and she calculated exactly how much she could put away for him. She didn't want him or Amelia to have to work during school, and she hoped that one or both of them would be able to go to college, if they wanted to. She'd be proud to be there when they graduated, knowing she'd been able to help them with their dreams.

She shook her head and kept stocking the shelves, making sure to put them all in their right place. She didn't want Ben to be upset that he'd taken her on. Reaching behind her without looking, she didn't notice that she'd knocked a few books off the rolling cart and on to the floor.
