Twirling a freshly-dyed lock of hair around her finger as she walked, Nora studied the color intently. She was born a sort of dirty-strawberry blonde, but she hadn't had that color hair in years. Usually, she favored darker colors, brunette her favorite, but purple a close second. This blonde? It was new. And weird. And even though the other angels said they were taking care of the demon, Nora was in the habit of changing her hair now.

She wondered if Ethan would like it, though. Maybe he only liked dark haired girls. Maybe he'd think she looked weird blonde. She wasn't even sure what she thought of it. It had taken ages to do, this time professionally. You didn't mess with that kind of thing on your own. Darker? Go for it. Lighter? She didn't want orange hair!

Either way, it was done now. And to be safe she ought to spend at least a week like this... Knocking on the door to his house, she bit her lip. Too late now...

Esmerelda went through the cafeteria line, looking for Nora. She was probably off with Ethan. Sometimes being the third wheel in a relationship was exactly as fun as it sounded. She sighed and found a table after saying hi to a few people she didn't know very well. Certainly not well enough to eat with.

She sat down at a vacated table and brushed her hair back, reading her chem homework. She was already in college level chemistry, not that anyone knew it, nor would she let them. She was already sitting alone. Would you want to be more ostracized than that?

Perched on one of the bar stools, turned away from the door so she wouldn't be staring at it hopelessly when Ethan decided to arrive, Nora uncrossed then recrossed her legs, tapping her fingers on the bar. This was dumb. Why was she nervous? She knew she looked hot- in a short denim skirt and heels that helped accentuate what she thought of as her best feature, her long legs. She'd never actually thought to display them quite this way- both were borrowed from Esme. She was actually wearing her own top, a belted white button up, slightly sheer, but not too trashy. Topped off with her mother's old motorcycle jacket, eyeliner, and big barrel-curled hair, and she was looking hot, if she did say so herself. Not that this was an occasion to look hot. It was Ethan.

Ethan waited in the hallways of Mysteria high school while his father negotiated with the guidance counselor about how wonderful his son would be. No more pranks, no bad behavior, no nothing but perfect test scores and studious behavior.

Right now, his fun involved people watching. He was waiting outside the counselor's office while they talked. It was his first day in an American school system, and his first in a public one period.
