Caleb was still adjusting to life back in Mysteria. All of his old friends were now younger than he was. The Dreaming had aged him by over two years. He was different. He was more mature, a man now. Unfortunately, the people he had left behind didn't really know what to make of the new Caleb. Lucky he was usually unnoticed before he left.

Now he was grown and looking to the future. And as it would happen, that future involved a beautiful hunter-skinwalker that was busy in the park herself. He grinned and put his sketch pad down, coming up quietly behind her. "Miss me?" He whispered in her ear before turning her around.

Maddy was in the kitchen, hard at work making breakfast for her family and friends. Christmas music was playing as she made every breakfast item she could think off, delicious smells wafting through the house. She was giving Bruno bacon and sausage so he was close to her, happily eating any tidbit put his way.

What: Mercy's wandering the streets shopping when she senses another fey.



Mercy had had a few days for the news of her being pregnant to sink in. After it had and she had came to except it she decided to do what any woman would do. She had decided to go shopping. Hope had to work so she had to go alone this time. Later she'd be sure to drag her best friend out to look at all the cute outfits. While she was out she was also going to grab Hope's Christmas/Solstice present. She was just getting ready to head into a store when she felt something. Stopping, she turned and looked right at the boy who was walking down the sidewalk.

Well it was close to Christmas and one of his friends had been taken to hospital and he'd not gotten the chance to see her while she was in. She was surrounded by a whole load of new people! He'd called plenty though and sent her flowers. But now she was home, he was going to drop in on her and see how she was. He had a gift and her Christmas present, he wasn't sure when she'd be fit enough again. So may as well get it early.
He walked up to the door and knocked on it in his usual knock. The dog started barking like he was going to have a fit, a familiar scent he hadn't smelt for ages was here to play!
Tate hummed softly to himself waiting for the door to be answered.

Homecoming

What: Maddy finally comes home from the hospital

Maddy let out a content sigh as she settled into her own bed. She had gotten home not too long ago and by doctor's orders she was to rest. She was tired of laying about, but being in her own bed, in her own pajamas, was much better.

She wasn't really tired but knew better than to attempt to do the cleaning of the house that was bugging her. Laundry had to be done, food shopping...How had Neil survived with out her to take care of him?

The thing that really bothered her was now she had to go to therapy. It seemed silly to her. She was fine now. She didn't need therapy. But there was no arguing with Caleb and Neil. All her pills had been taken away and now she took nothing but her birth control and anti-depressants. She was not aloud to actually give them to herself. No, once a day Neil or Caleb had to give them to her with her breakfast. She wasn't used to feeling so...helpless. She definately wasn't used to being cared for.

Back from the dark

Where: Mysteria Hospital
What: Maddy wakes up after her drug overdose.

It was dark. Everything hurt. Pain? Pain meant she wasn't dead. That was good. Maddy didn't want to be dead. But everything hurt. She heard beeping. What was beeping? Was she in the hospital? Was her mom being gone all a dream? Why else would she be in the hospital.

It felt like trying to swim through tar. The beeping got louder. She heard noises. Voice. Maybe she had just fallen asleep in the chair again looking over her mom. That's why everything hurt. The chair was uncomfortable.

She needed to open her eyes. To see her mom. It was all just a bad dream. Her mom was still here. A groan came form her. Why did everything hurt so much? Very very slowly her brown eyes began to open. She saw the ceiling. Was she on the floor? "Mommy?" she called weakly, trying to make her muddled mind work.

What: Neil is in a state wondering whether Maddy will be okay or not.

Coming back in from the cold, shivering wildly in just his trainers, pyjama bottoms and flannel jacket. He sat down and stared at the forms picking up the pencil he had been handed and swallowed hard. Tears in his eyes stinging them. He wasn’t sobbing now at least. Bloodshot and blurred it made the words even harder to read for him. But he recognised some of the words and things he needed to write. Name. He recognised that. But that other word, was that for Maddy’s name then? DOB? What did DOB mean? Maddy usually filled out his forms with him. He chucked the clipboard to the chair opposite him and pouted. He couldn’t help anyone!

He just had to wait for help.

A Town and Family He'd Left Behind....

What: A Missing Father returns to his Daughter



Jeff turned off the car, sitting and staring up at the house. It was just like he remembered it being 17 years ago, though he could only guess how things had changed inside. For a moment he couldn't move, a could sweat breaking as he clutched Claire's letter. There was another letter for Maddy, but that was in his pocket. He wouldn't need it, he was sure of it. All he had to do was get up, go to the door, find the woman he'd been dreaming of since he'd left... and see their daughter. Then Claire would be alright and he could work to bring his family together like he'd always wanted.

But first he had to get up. For a moment he wished Ava were here, but he reminded himself that whatever was waiting for him inside, it probably wasn't going to be comfortable till they'd all talked. And she'd wanted to stay behind....

The man bowed his head, then finally got out, shutting the door and nervously straightening his suit and checking himself in the rearview mirror. Deciding he looked good enough he pulled out the large bouquet of white lilies, Claire's favorite, and a smaller bouquet or roses for Maddy. Going up to the front door he took a deep breath, feeling like his knees were going to give out or he'd be sick to his stomach.

Finally he inhaled and knocked on the door. "Alright... you can do this, Jefferson, you can do this...."

The Plan in Action

Where: The Last Round
What: Gideon returns to The Last Round with the teens and the plan is set into motion.



Getting back to the bar had to have been the most nerve racking few minutes of Gideon's whole life. He had flown over head of the cars, chasing back any shades that might try and get near them. The whole time he was afraid that the car Bridgette was in was going to crash. It was probably a fear without reason but he couldn't help it anyway. As soon as they reached The Last Round, Gideon yelled for the door to be opened while gesturing for the kids to run.

Soon the bar as a full as it would have been during opening hours. As soon as the door closed behind them, Gideon let his wings disappear back into his back while he looked around the room. No one had gotten ate it seemed. Not only that but it looked like they had been busy why he was gonna. He could see Casey and Sophia filling up...were those squirt guns? Yeah, they were squirt guns. As soon as they filled one, Ash would bless it.

In another section of the bar he noticed a few people taking out blacklights and replacing them with a white one. Gideon could only assume they were uv ones. Both were good ideas and from the activity in the room it appeared that it hadn't been all Casey getting things ready. "So are we having a white t-shirt contest or planning to kick some ass?" Gideon's arm went around Bridgette's shoulders and he pulled her against his side. It wasn't over yet and he didn't want to let her go until it was.

Fly By Night

What: Gideon goes after Bridgette and ends up meeting her and the other teens on their way to the last round.



The moment Gideon had stepped outside of The Last Round he had taken to the air. It took some of the shades interest off of the building as they peeled away to go follow him. He just hoped that he was faster than they were. Whenever they got to close he would send out a bolt of lightening at them, the special properties of the bolts frying the little bastards. The whole time he was focused on getting to school so he could get to Bridgette. If those things had somehow managed to get into the school...no, he couldn't think about that. He had to remember that Bridgette was a smart girl.

Anyone looking out their windows would have found it odd that there was lightening crossing the sky during an eclipse and the fact that it was snowing out. The snow didn't slow down Gideon. He flew as fast as he could until he noticed the cars that were coming down the road. Now it might not have been so odd if it wasn't for the fact that some of the people in the cars were glowing. The glowing helped him notice a pair of red wings.

Gideon turned quickly in the air and went after the cars, coming down and landing on the roof of the one had had seen a flash of red wing in.

Maddy shoved the rest of her books into her locker. Friday. The best day of the week. Even more so because she was going over to Caleb's. That made her grin. She slipped on her coat and grabbed her backpack, checking her hair in the mirror she had. Her locker was littered with pictures of her with the Fitzwilliam boys. Her favorite was one from her sweet 16 with Van and Tate jumping all over her and attacking her with cake. It always made her smile.

Red moved her arm a little and arched her back some more. "Like this?" She asked wearing tight lycra shorts and a tight vest top. Helped Caleb to see all the curves without her being naked. But hey, she'd pose naked for him if he really wanted her too.

Usually he didn't have her posing. He prefered to make quick sketches of her. Well, Red didn't do still often! But he'd been working on one piece for a while.

"So, go on then! Last time I heard from you you'd snuck over to Maddy's. What's new you horny, horny freak?" She asked and giggled.

Who: Kenzie, Caleb, and anyone who's at the bus station at this time and wants to introduce themselves to the new arrival.
Where: Bus station.
When: Early afternoon, about 2:00.
What: Mackenzie arrives in Mysteria.

It had been a long, cramped, and slightly nauseating bus trip, but the bus was finally pulling into the bus station in Mysteria and Kenzie couldn't have been happier. Not just to get off the bus (although that was a huge plus), but she was really excited to meet the brother she hadn't even known she had.

She had brought with her a backpack and duffel bag in addition to her suitcase - she wasn't exactly sure how long she'd be staying, and she had a tendency to overpack. It had occurred to her that she didn't know where she'd be staying and it might be in a tiny room, but she figured if things got too cramped, she could always stay in a motel close to Caleb's house.

After gathering her belongings, she went to stand by the payphones, where she'd told Caleb she'd be - she'd figured that was an in-the-open enough spot for him to see her.
