Aurora hadn't meant to fall asleep. She really didn't. She had been trying to stay awake like her mother told her to, drinking coffee nonstop, but when Diana took Meadow and Matty to the hospital again and Aurora was left to her own devices at home, reading had gotten monotonous and she had drifted off.

She was dreaming. It was a nightmare she had been having since she was a kid, and now it had come back to haunt her. She would be in the middle of traffic. Cars zooming in every direction. She was so confused how she had gotten there. She just was, and suddenly there was a loud honking behind her. She would see the truck just in time to get hit, her powers failing her. Every time she got hit, she would wake up. There was no waking up this time.

Suddenly, just like in her dream, she was surrounded by traffic. She screamed, knowing what was coming. She spun and there it was. The honking, the truck. She tried to use her powers to stop it, and true to the dream, they didn't work. She was paralyzed by fear until something hit her, knocking her sideways and out of the truck's path.

What: Some of the Kelley's are sleeping and Diana and the crew go to visit


This was all too much. How much could you take before you broke? Aside from Aurora and the M&M's, her children were sleeping. Not dead, not comatose. Just deeply asleep and not waking up. Her eldest and the middle two. And of course, Derek. She didn't know what to do about Derek. He had started to explain how he knew such things, that he had been an angel of wrath before meeting Diana and fallen for some reason.

She sat at the end of his hospital bed and talked to him. About everything. How angry she was. How she needed him. How she never slept without him anymore. It was probably what saved her from leaving her children too.

"Mom?" Aurora queried tentatively, knocking on the door. She held the twins' hands and smiled at Diana. "You okay?"

"Just fine sweetheart." She stood up and walked down the hall when she saw a familiar face. "Hey you," She smiled, "What are you in for?"

Who: Zeke & Maia (open to school students and staff)
When: School Hours, mid morning.
Where: Mysteria High
What: Zeke comes to the school to confront Maia about something she forget to tell him about nymphs...



Anger seemed to roll off Ezekiel as he strode across the school grounds, tremors shaking the earth beneath his feet with each footfall. He was too angry to notice. Furious. Hard to believe that only a scant half hour previous he'd been in a relatively mellow frame of mind, but that had been before his conversation with Maia's sister, Lara, who'd been telling him about how she'd gotten into her predicament, and about how Nymphs were conceived with human men and then taken away to the dreaming to be raised.

Entering the the school, he stomped through the halls until he found Maia's classroom. Opening the door, he paid no heed to the art class he was interrupting, and strode directly to his fiancée.

"We need to talk Maia," He growled angrily, leaving no room for argument, "Now."

What: Tate is in a bit of a mood and thinks cake and coffee could help

Tate was wondering, mostly because home just didn't feel right any more and he wanted to be out of the house. Christmas this year had been worse than any other. His brother had left and even though he was so excited for him it had broken the family up. His parents were constantly arguing and only Fax seemed to be acting normally. Or as normal as Fax could. He sighed and pulled his scarf tighter around his neck and ducked in to have a cup of coffee in Delights. He noticed how there wasn't Nicola stood waiting with her usual smile. He frowned slightly hoping nothing was wrong. Because Delights couldn't close! Everything was changing. He didn't like it.

Nadia hadn't gotten a chance to go to the grocery store on her way to her cabin, so she needed a few things, milk, eggs, bread... meat, y'know, the basics. The store wasn't busy, and she was standing in the otherwise deserted aisle three, examining the label on a tin of tuna, checking to see if it was dolphin safe.

In Chicago, snow had not been a fun thing. The streets turned gross, and they weren't even allowed to play! Here, though, what could Mommy do? Meadow grinned to herself as she took off from the second story of the house, down the stairs, and out into the snow, dressed in her tall snow boots, a skirt, her sweater, and her favorite pink hat. There were things to do! Getting dressed was too boring. She was basically covered, right? "Bye, Rory!" she called as she passed her older sister, giggling when she felt Matty get the idea to join her.

What: Aurora goes looking for her father to find out what's going on

What: Derek and Diana are separated and Diana's taken the kids back to Mysteria. She got a house big enough for all six kids, it just needs a little attention.
