Morgan sighed, "Damnit." She mumbled under her breath and walked over to him. She sat down on the arms chair and stroked Marcus' hair tenderly. "You big, dumb, idiot." She sighed and pressed a kiss to the top of his head and went back to soothing him by stroking his hair.
"Marcus, there's always hope she may have just been scared, the space, time away, she may have reconsidered." She pointed out, "But you'll also need to prepare yourself for the worst." She said softly. "If," She hated to think this, a Thomaston child not getting to live gave her a sick feeling, "She has had an abortion, is it something you can forgive her for?" She queried. "And there is no way to 'fix' this one Marcus. No matter how much it upsets you."
