What: After the attack, Artemis goes looking for something to kill a dragon
Thankfully there were still a few places left standing. Nikki's Delights, most of the Last Round, and the Raven's Nest, and occult shop she'd heard about. She didn't know what else to do. She was only a human hunter, even if she was the best with kick ass intuition. She had to do something to help, keep the Hellgate quiet and stop this goddamn dragon. It was resting for now, but it would come back. She needed to stop it before that happened.
The bell above the door rang and Artemis looked behind the counter. She expected to see a kindly old lady not...John. She stepped right up to him and said, "So, question of the day. How to kill a dragon. How to get close enough to kill a dragon. Answer is..."

Who: Maia & Zeke OT Evan, Lara, Bridgette, Irene, others
Where: Their house
When: Early morning
What: Assessing the damage
Every instinct in Maia's being told her to go outside, start the repair. Her trees. But right now there was more important things. Zeke still hadn't come home. She was worried until she was physically sick. She had to get herself under control, be strong.
Would this be what it was like every time something happened? The fear, the worry? She accepted all of Zeke when she agreed to marry him. She wasn't having doubts, just worried about her strength, her ability to take it. Could she? Could she be strong enough for them?
She sat outside and waited for Zeke, ignoring the rain, the chill in the air. She just wanted him home. Nothing else mattered.
