Who: Samantha & Eden
When: Mid-Morning
Where: Devil's Lake District Attorney's Office
What: Samantha intervies Eden for a job.
Sam was figuratively buried under a mountain of documented evidence when her office phone rang. Not moving her eyes from the page she was engrossed in, she reached for the phone, "What's up, Holly?"
Her secretary explained that HR had sent over a Ms. Eden Caldera to interview. Sam began tidying her desk up, "Yeah okay Holly, bring her in."
A moment later Holly escorted Eden into Sam's office, handing her boss Eden's resume as Sam rose and came out from behind her desk to meet the young woman, offering her hand, "Good to meet you Ms. Caldera. I'm Samantha Áalihte. Please, have a seat."
Sitting back down herself, Sam opened the resume and glanced over it, then leaned back to regard Eden curiously, "You have an impressive scholastic record, but I can't help but notice you seem to have just started a job with the Chicago District Attorney's office. May I ask what brings you to Devil's Lake?"
