What: Welcome to Mysteria Ethan
Ethan waited in the hallways of Mysteria high school while his father negotiated with the guidance counselor about how wonderful his son would be. No more pranks, no bad behavior, no nothing but perfect test scores and studious behavior.
It would be so much fun to prove him wrong.
Right now, his fun involved people watching. He was waiting outside the counselor's office while they talked. It was his first day in an American school system, and his first in a public one period. He could give them credit for the eyecandy. The women were extraordinary. Yes, he would have fun here. Just wait.

Who: Raven, Carter
When: 6 am
Where: Raven's cabin
What: Carver gets bad news
Ensconced firmly in Raven's bed, nice and warm and comfortable, Carver didn't want to move when he heard the sound of his phone ringing in the living room. A light sleeper, most any noise woke him up. Luckily at Raven's, there wasn't much in the way of street noise. Or a street. But, back to the phone.
It was ringing, and before he could tug his arms from Raven's body, it stopped. Then started again. The sound was the same, but it seemed more urgent to Carver the second time, and he sprung from the bed to answer it.
"Hello?" He kept his voice down, not wanting to wake Raven as he paced the living room. "No... Mom, you gotta calm down, I can hardly- Mom. Mom. Mom." Finally, her message was conveyed, and he hung up the phone, sinking to the ground to sit.
