Whats with this town? [06 Jan 2009|05:00pm]
Who: Quinton and OTA with access to the station
When: mid morning
Where: Police Station
What: Quinton is troubled

Quinton rubbed at his temple, “You’re sure?” He asked the his friend from the ballistics department on the end of the line.
“Sure as sure Quin. The bullet extracted from the victim wasn’t mass produced. It was made in a workshop. I’ve seen the style before. New York. Mob connections.” He added.
“Great. So what is the Mob doing in Mysteria?” He frowned.
“Lord knows. That’s your problem, Quin. But I’m telling you. If the guys in NYPD hear that the mob is in your town, you’ll have them poking their noses in to your business.”
“Oh fantastic.” He sighed. “At least I can prepare for it. Cheers Drew.” He smiled as he hung up the phone and looked at a picture of the pretty young woman who had been shot. "Poor thing..." He said softly.

Who: Irene & Gideon
When: Late morning
Where: Apt above The Last Round
What: they say it's your birthday!

Waking later than usual, Irene rolled in Gideon's arms, a smiling blooming on her face as he came into view. He was still sleeping, of course, so she snuggled in and bided her time. They could spend the whole day like this for all she cared.

When he started to stir, she placed a quick kiss on his lips. "Mornin'," she said softly. She'd been planning on leading with something else, but she'd let him wake up, first.

Who: Taylor, OTA
When: Afternoon
Where: The Library
What: Workin', readin', it's all the same thing!

The library was dead. Well, not literally dead, it would probably need to have been alive at some point for it to be dead. Considering everything that she'd observed in this town, she wouldn't be surprised to find buildings that were alive, or could talk... But the library wasn't one of them as far as she could tell. It was just... empty.

And Taylor... was bored.

So she pulled down all of her favorite books on herbology and took out her notebook, spreading them over the desk and taking furious notes as she flipped through. There had to be a way to make Xander's special drink last longer. Even if it wasn't as strong...

Who: Tori & Seth
When: Early Evening
Where: Seth's place
What: Tori's... lonely? No...

Tori was frustrated, to be honest. And not just sexually frustrated, which was one she could deal with, either alone or with others. But no, she was actually, legitimately frustrated. You see, Tori didn't want to have sex with random guys, and that wasn't her. She wasn't a slut by any means, but she didn't mind some mutual pleasure when she needed it.

Except now that mutual pleasure didn't seem as important as the person it was being shared with... And Tori just wanted to share it with one guy.

That particular guy just happened to be in town, and single. And hot as all get out. She should have been happy as she walked up the stairs to his place. But nope, that would have been too easy...

Who: Drew, open to Eva, Cleo, or Sav
When: Morning
Where: Their apartment
What: Breakfast!

Drew hummed happily to himself as he made breakfast, his robe swaying as he moved from island to fridge to stove. It was Saturday, he was in his very own place, and life was good. He'd even gotten to practice some spells, one of which was keeping the waffles he'd already made warm while he cooked up scrambled eggs and some bacon.

The coffee finished, and he almost dove for a mug, filling it and downing the entire thing black before making another the way he liked it. Then he made two more and set the same warming spell on them. This was fun. He did a little shimmy before going back to the stove, unaware he was being watched.

Who: Tessa, OTA
When: 7 pm
Where: Break & Run
What: Workin in the coal mine pool hall, Goin' on down, down

"Two Cokes and a diet," Tessa said, placing the drinks on the bar in front of the kids. Her bartender was slammed right now, and she'd volunteered to help out. Being slammed? That was a good thing- a great thing. Business was really picking up. Maybe she had a knack for this. It was enough to fill the voids for now...

Shaking that thought, she beamed up at the next customer, ready to get their order.
