“I see my brother has dragged you here once again, then?” Haydn raised his eyebrows and gave a tiny nod in response to the blonde female. She wasn’t looking at him at this point and he knew that she didn’t even need an answer, but he did it anyway. At the holding hands comment the Jew gave a small snort of laughter, looking down at his hands to avoid any glances he might receive from Savannah or Gavin. His fingers busied themselves with attempting to wipe the fingerprints off of his lighter even though he knew that he wouldn’t have much success. Fingers couldn’t wipe away their own prints, all that came of that was oddly-shaped smudges. What he needed was a tissue or something, not that it really even mattered seeing as the fingerprints would show up again the second he touched the metal. Giving up on that he flipped the lighter open and ran his thumb over the wheel, tilting his head slightly as he listened to Savannah. At the word “explosion” he looked up, a curious look etched into his features.
“An explosion? Did it say what caused it?” he asked, snapping the lighter closed. Somehow he highly doubted that the cause would have been mentioned, but he figured he would ask anyway. Obviously not everything had to deal with mutants but sometimes they did stuff like that for attention. Stupid, really.
