Thread: First Night Who: Tyrone Johnson and Tandy Bowen NPCs: --- When: February 11th - around 2AM Where: Tandy's Room What: Tyrone has a mini!panic attack from being separated from Tandy. Rating: TBD - but not high.
Adjusting to their new living conditions, Tyrone knew that it was going to take a while. They had lived in the streets for quite a few months, so having a constant place to keep warm as well as food was a good change for them. However, he still had his doubts about the school. It wasn't as though he disagreed with Tandy's idea. Not even a little bit. In fact, he thought it was the best idea for them, especially since he could be a tad unpredictable with his powers of darkness and the Predator. Tyrone wanted to learn how to control every aspect of his entire being, and being in a school that specialized in it was ideal for the time being. The only thing he was wary about was everyone else around them. He wasn't sure whom to trust or their exact intentions were on any given subject. One thing that Tyrone could count on was Tandy. There was never any doubt about on this thoughts when it involved the blonde girl, even though she did have a tendency to see the best in all individuals.
He had spent most of the day with Tandy learning the aspects of the school without much of a problem. Of course, he was mostly silent to those around them, but that was almost to be expected. Tyrone wasn't sure how others would take to his abilities, especially with how he had heard individuals describe the experience as they saved other teenagers from crime that happened around every street corner in New York. He knew that the students would take much more of a liking to Tandy, which is how it should be. Or at least, in his own opinion. But through everything, Tyrone knew that everything was going to be okay. There wasn't a doubt in his mind with his best friend around.
Shifting in bed just slightly, Tyrone settled in for the night at a late hour, mostly because it was difficult to gain a sense of comfort. And the darkness was never a problem either. His room mate was more than likely somewhere off to his side of the room, or hadn't returned from whatever event the boy had found himself within. Tyrone wasn't too sure, especially since he hadn't exactly met his roommate. Not that it mattered really. Wrapping the cloak around his body a little more, Tyrone stared at the ceiling listening to the emptiness that filled the room.
It was quiet. Maybe a bit too quiet. A feeling that he hadn't felt in the longest time. Months even.
Tyrone place a hand on his chest, before tossing the part of the covers that was actually against his legs. It hadn't taken him too much longer to spring up from the mattress, heading towards the door. He just needed to see Tandy. Damn the school rules, which he actually had easily forgotten in the mist of his entire body tensing as though the darkness was about to slip through and engulf the entire room in one swoop. Tossing the door open, he glanced into the empty hallway. If there was anyone out there, he could easily slip through unseen by using the shadows that cross along the ground.
Not much time had passed between the departure from his dorm until the second that he was standing in front of Tandy's door. Tyrone closed his fist and knocked on the door quietly, long enough so the blonde would be able to hear.
