[Thread] Cleaning Up Characters: Kevin Ford. { Open! } NPCs: --- Location: Dormitory, Xavier's School. Timeline: Sunday, August 2. Description: Kevin does some last-minute cleaning. Rating: Low.
It wasn't until he had to clean out his room that Kevin realized just how many of his projects he had stored away in his room over the last two years he'd called Xavier's his home. He even found a couple of smaller canvases tucked under Jay's bed that he definitely did not remember putting there. It was like every nook and cranny had a piece of art, all of which now had him wondering just how the heck was he supposed to move all of them over to the Baxter's Building. Or more importantly, which one of them was actually worth taking with him?
It wasn't like everything he worked on was a masterpiece. There were some, he would admit, were merely him phoning in to get a grade on an assignment. Looking over some of the painting and sculptures, he was mentally cringing over what state of mind he was in when he churned these out. Maybe he wasn't as good of an artist as he thought himself to be; a kindergartner could make better works than he did with some of these projects. And that now got him doubting his decision to go to art school come September. His art probably wouldn't pay the bill. Perhaps he should've gone for a more practical degree. Like Accounting. The world needed more accountants than it needed artists, didn't it?
He carried a stack of two large canvases and took them outside to the hallway. It might be a dangerous obstruction should there be an emergency, but for now, the hallway was a temporary display case for him to evaluate which one to throw away and which to keep.
