Greer acted like herself for the most part, but she also felt a little out of sorts. She was always happy with the way she looked, and she knew it got her a lot of looks, but it also did some not so great things. Like last fall when she got some eggs thrown at her by people who thought she was a mutant. It was bad enough that they wanted to egg her because she looked different, what was worse was that they wanted to egg her because she was a mutant. Or so they thought. Assholes. But she didn't think that going out to dinner would be a big deal? But people stared. People spoke. That made her dad uncomfortable. A part of her wanted to tell him to get over it, but another party said that maybe she should look for some way to hide the kitty features for his sake. She mulled it over for a bit, but soon distracted herself with her summer. September was a bit away and she still had a few weeks left before school started and she had to figure out how to go out with her dad in public without embarrassing him. She decided to head over to Xavier for today though, to see what they were up to and maybe coerce them into some fun and games. As she came into the school she thought she saw a familiar face, but no, it couldn't be. She knew Kurt Wagner to be boy with blue fur, a tail, and some really cool yellow eyes. Amongst other fun features. And while the boy standing in the hallway looked very similar to him in some ways, he was lacking the blue fur, the tail, and so on. She kept staring at him, trying to place him elsewhere. Maybe there was another boy at this school that looked a lot like him, because she felt like she knew him. |
