Petra nodded and rubbed the back of her neck, pushing her fingers through the loose lengths of her hair. She just shrugged her shoulders and rubbed at her eyes, digging her fingers into them. She felt tired all of a sudden. Her eyes fell on the TV that was in front of them and she then glanced at John.
She wasn't sure that she was ready to leave yet, but then at the same time she wasn't sure that she wanted to keep talking. There wasn't much more to talk about, she knew that John knew how much she appreciated his offer, and his friendship, the fact that he was still there for her, that he hadn't given up on her. And that? That was important. That meant a lot to her.
She wet her lower lip and leaned back into the couch again, sagging into the cushions. "You think that thing works?" she asked, indicating to the TV. Maybe they could watch some crappy show for a bit before heading back. Just... hang out together. For a bit. Before they went back to the real world.
