Tabitha put joking aside and thought seriously about Jubilee's question. Bobby was a riot and she liked hanging out with him, but as far as sparks went, she kinda already had her heart set on someone else. So, she liked him yes, but she didn't like-like him, as they said.
But Jubilee didn't need to know that. Especially if the girl wasn't putting up much of a fight for Bobby. Disappointing, Tabitha thought as she chewed on her lip. Poor Bobby sounded like he was really into Jubilee. She quieted down for a moment and let Jubilee wolf down her lunch while she took slow sip of her coffee.
She wondered if she kept pushing, she might ruin everything for Bobby. But it also wasn't in her nature to quit in the middle of something. "You still gonna ask him, yeah? I bet half the people here want to ask Bobby to the dance. You can't let a little competition stop you, yeah? It's his choice anyway. Probably isn't even into me."
