It wasn't her intention to be so cold. It was just that she was tired, no exhausted, and social niceties went out the window somewhere around the seventy-two hour mark of being awake. Alison was scared not only for herself but for her friends and family. They had made it out alive, just barely at that, but she couldn't keep her mind from playing over and over again the events of that night. What if those HYDRA-Nazis had those blue laser guns? All it would have taken was one zap. What if they had been caught and mind controlled? What then? What if one of them had died? What if her friends hadn't have come for her and Alison had been eventually caught?
Her hand unconsciously tightened around the bed sheet as terror rose up inside of her once more. She was doing it again... And Alison had to force herself to remember that everyone was alive, if just barely, and that she was safe at the school under the watchful eye of Moira MacTaggert and Charles Xavier and that no one was going to come for her in the middle of the night. And that her dad was probably alive...
She didn't even know. Because HYDRA had taken down communications with the island. She couldn't even get a message to her father. The thought caused her to frown severely, but then she snapped to attention when Star broke the silent and her eye slid around to peer at him. "The only ones what?" She asked, if not a little bit stern, which was completely unlike the blonde, especially where 'Star was concerned.
