Who: Bobby & Rogue What: Quiet time with Bobby and Rogue Where: X-Mansion When: September 18th, the evening before Scott and Ororo's morning conversation.
Bobby had seen a lot more of his new boyfriend than he's seen of his girlfriend lately. Considering the boyfriend Jamie Madrox (rather, a duplicate thereof) lived and worked in Washington, D.C., and his girlfriend Rogue lived with him in Westchester, that was saying something. And more and more, Bobby was wondering what exactly that fact was saying.
Shortly after he and Rogue had got together as a couple months ago, she had helped him come to terms with the fact that he was just as attracted to men as women. Her surprising solution to that was suggesting an open relationship. He could date whichever men struck his fancy, and he wouldn't be cheating on Rogue. But his alone time with Rogue was so fleeting that he had to wonder if she was dumping him off on someone else.
Despite the fact they could physically have sex, the last time he and Rogue had tried it was the first time they'd tried it, back at the hotel room. She'd been understandably gun-shy about it since then -- draining him in mid-coitus would do that.
These days, if she wasn't volunteering for every possible X-Men away mission, she was beating up the Danger Room. Yesterday she'd actually managed to damage it enough that Beast and Forge shut it down for an estimated week of repairs.
Even so, every once in a while, Rogue would actually spend the night in their shared room. And their makeout sessions would be heated and amazing. And then they would stop just as clothes threatened to be shed. And she would leave.
Sigh.
Bobby laid in bed, staring at the ceiling. The Danger Room was hospitalized, and there weren't any X-Men missions that he knew of. He wondered if that meant he could spend some time with Rogue. He wasn't counting on it, but it might be nice.
