I enjoy the idea of Scott having a lot of respect for Rogue and vice versa but the two of them not being exactly open about it. They butt heads a lot because she's got a LOT of opinions and doesn't always think of the team first (though she's starting to simmer) but she's actually very gifted. And she respects him because she cannot fathom doing what he does, dealing with the problems he deals with, while still making time for his own life. I think that more than anything she doesn't want a father figure, and while I know Scott never takes that role purposefully, she just doesn't want to give anyone any chance to think she needs a crutch.
Ro is similar. She doesn't object to some canoodling here and there, but given that this is a celebration for the team (and Jubes!) she doesn't want to distract anyone from the true purpose of the meeting. But the X-Peeps are so good at picking up on anyone who makes eyes at one another.
Oooh we could always say that Rogue has mentioned wanting to go and find Remy (to Bobby or behind his back even) and that could stir some paranoia.
Ro would be so happy for them both! Because Ro is the best and most supportive. And Ro being supportive means that both Scott and Logan are forced to be equally as supportive ;) Rogue...doesn't care. She'll kind of give a side-eye to Bobby like "She made it easy" but not say anything.
I feel like with the whole mutant thing, it's kind of hard for someone to say "I disapprove of how you live your life." I mean, anyone who isn't comfortable with it tends to be smart enough to keep their mouths shut. That being said, we should really find someone to just try and rain of their parade. Not long-term, but I do like the idea of someone's lack of understanding or hate over it gets shut down by everyone else.
Has it seriously been 10 days since you posted this? Time needs to stop moving. Seriously. And the Witcher 3 just stopped consuming my free time only to let Batman take it's place. ARGH.
