The theater had turned into a coliseum, with the two super-powered opponents going blow for blow. Every strike, every dodge was met in stride with another punch or a parry. As strong as she was, Rogue knew that she was going to need more to take down the giant. She scanned the theater, her eyes focusing in on the support beams, and smirked. A shuffle here, an exchange of blows there and his fist met decaying with his a crack. The roof pelted them with remnants of plaster and dirt, but the theater did not fall. Not yet.
If Blockbuster had picked up on what Rogue was trying to do, he did not seem to care. Breaking the first support beam had only seemed to rile him and he charged, forcing Rogue to take to the aisles that had once played host to rows and rows of satin-covered seats. She weaved easily through the overturned chairs, floating just off the ground to avoid tripping over any fallen beams and continued back to the next support structure. This time she was too slow to escape him and when he swung, he slammed his fist into her gut. Wood fractured behind her and the ceiling shook once more, sending larger fragments of itself down upon them. "That the best ya got?" Rogue mocked. Blockbuster roared and struck again, this time missing her gut and sending his fist straight through the pillar.
A large chunk of plaster hit the enraged mutant on the shoulder, forcing him to pause just a moment. That was all Rogue needed. She grabbed him by the shoulders and flung him across the back aisle to the next support beam. He struck it hard, the wood snapping immediately, and with it came the roof. Rogue flew through a barrage of crumbling bits of ceiling, metal beams, and filth, breaking through the top just as the whole structure came falling down. Blockbuster survived. Probably.
Rogue took the time to admire her handiwork for just a moment. She shook her mane of auburn hair free, free it of the largest bits of junk before looking to see how far Bobby had made it with their target. He was easy to spot being the only man on the block surrounded by unconscious mutants. As she flew in she realized that Remy was awake. Her brow snapped together in anger and she dropped down next to Bobby, glaring at the Cajun with new found rage.
