Kitty stopped what she was doing for a split second while what Rogue said in answer to her question was. Woah.... Now that sucked hard... made anything that Kitty thought she was going through seem like peanuts. "Wow... That would be very odd... But... But if you wear the gloves and stuff you won't hurt them, right?" It made since now. "You mean... No one... can touch your bare skin?" She couldn't imagine.
She was making simple ham sandwich with cheese, and very little condiment on it. It wasn't that she didn't like them, but they tended to cover up the taste of the meat and cheese in her mind. So, very little was used. "My ability is that I can go into a state of intangibility." Which sounded like peanuts, and nothing to really freak out about when one thought that someone had an ability that allowed them for no one to touch them. However... technically she supposed that if she were to stay intangible for some odd reason the same would be for her too, but it wouldn't be a 24/7 way of life for her either. Or at least she hoped it never would.
She finished up with the second sandwich, turned, and handed hers to Rogue. However, she didn't really act any different, maybe a bit more cautious, but still she didn't back off from her. She smiled as she bit into her sandwich, and then walked on. Sure, it was possible dangerous, but she had finally got that people had different varying degrees of abilities some more scary, or dangerous then others, even different looks it didn't mean they were any different then anyone else though.
Her problems with Kurt at first and the way he looked, and eventually getting over it more and more lead her to think more like this as time went on. Even while some of the things had been disgusting, and scary she could look now at what had happened to her a little while ago and realize that the weird, perverted, little man just wanted love. Even though she wasn't the one to want to give him it, still it was something all people wanted.
