Now Kitty was really curious, and if only she had been a bit more observant when they had first met to have seen her sort of flench when she came near she could have at least had a part of the puzzle. However, she had not, so that missing puzzle piece to everything she was now seeing and hearing was sort of making her come up with any answer to her curiosity sort of hard. Unless, of course, she asked out right, which at the moment she wasn't really willing to take a chance on yet.
She bit her tongue once more, and decided that asking straight out what she meant by being in close quarters would probably be a not so good thing, as really she was just starting to get the young woman to open up a bit more without really being too intrusive, or at least she thought so. She looked at the books strewn around her and sighed. She really should be getting back to her school work but now she just didn't feel like it. Sure she was maybe unlike most young people in the fact she did like school and school work but she could be just as lazy as the next at times about it. Plus being smart meant she could really get it done pretty fast when she was in the mood too.
