Kitty nodded at the information that Rogue gave her. "Pleased to meet you too." Kitty was a curious creature, but she could have tact when she wanted to. That is when she wasn't overcome with excitement about whatever it was she was being curious about. At the moment she could tell Rogue was being a bit general in her answers so was going to back off on that whole like of intrusion that her curiosity could sometimes get into if allowed too.
She cocked her head. Now she was sort of confused. Why would they keep the kids away from the boathouse if she just stayed down there? She seemed pretty nice to her. However, she bit her tongue on asking that particular inquiry. Still it had her even more curious to why she was covered up so, and why they had been warned away from the boathouse if she was the only one down there. "Doesn't it get lonely down there by yourself?" She did ask, thinking that wasn't to intrusive, or at least she didn't think so.
It would take Kitty time to get used to the fact that her parents were going to get divorced and all that came with it. The split visitations, split holidays, and trying to deal with all that. However, like everything else in her life she would bounce back from even this. She would probably never like it, but she would accept it after a while.
