Though she still didn't know much about the school Rogue had been told a few things the first time she'd met with Professor X and by her calculations Kitty must have been one of the first students at the school. She guessed the younger girl must have been pretty comfortable at the school and wondered if she'd ever feel the same way. She supposed it might depend on whether she ever actually lived in the school or not, something which at the moment seemed a little unlikely. Rogue figured it would be more of an issue if she were younger but at seventeen years-old, whether she lived in the school or down in the boat house wasn't such a pressing issue.
It didn't occur to Rogue that anyone would be that curious about her -- she mostly forgot how covered up she was unless someone came too close and apparently she had been wrong in thinking that everyone would know how dangerous she was -- so she was quite relaxed as she sat down in a neighboring chair to Kitty's. This was one of those times (that had once become increasingly rare but were now starting to make semi-regular appearances again) where she wasn't desperate to run and hide but actually almost comfortable in the presence of another. Wolverine was the only one who had managed that feat so far.
"Right now I'm signed up for English, History and German," she answered, settling back into the comfortable chair. She had yet to attend a German class but she had been informed that the blue mutant named Kurt was the teacher so she was a little more relaxed about it. Wolverine seemed like Kurt a whole lot and he wasn't so bad from what Rogue had seen of him. "I'm starting off slow, I haven't been to school in a while." Rogue's expression remained light at this bit of information; she figured it wouldn't be too surprising, it wasn't hard to imagine that situations arose with young mutants that kept them from school sometimes.
