Wren had worn no costume and no mask. She hadn't even worn make-up or a wig. She arrived five minutes late, and she had her hair up in a ponytail, ends curling at her shoulders. She wore brushed khaki jeans and a long-sleeved shirt, snug and high-quality, designer make, and a jacket with a fleece trim. She'd thought about it for a very long time, about what to wear, and she'd decided it was more important to hide her vigilante identity than to hide who she really was - she needed her clients to trust her, or she would be useless on the streets.
