Johnny laughed, "I'm loosened up! I'm a crime victim and I'm still good!" he said in his defense but he let Mason pull him up to his feet anyway.
He had no idea what was going on, it was amusing to say the least and he was grinning a bit and trying to look as indignant as possible. "I have fun, I take out girls who can't date me unless they're drinking. I get my ass kicked, what's not fun about all this?" he asked.
He raised his eyebrows and this time he really did look indignant, "You didn't say anything about prettier," he said and he could not even believe that he was considering cutting a rug with Mason in his kitchen. It was Mason, there wasn't a lot he could do to stop himself, he was a bit of a pushover, Mason was his best friend, he wanted to make him happy. And if he was honest, it was keeping his mind off of all the crap that WASN'T in the safety of his apartment. There was some kind of odd satisfaction in Mason's words, he wasn't losing his hold on everything, he'd always have Mason. "It's been a long time since I've had to show off my sweet dance moves."
