Who: Jennifer, Daryl, Billy What: A little assistance Where: Outside Centro When: The evening of the masquerade, as the party winds down Warnings: None
Jennifer wasn't sure of the time, whether it was minutes or hours after she'd left Centro's doors, but the party seemed to roll ever onward into the evening. People came and went outside the restaraunt, pleasantly ignoring the slouched figure resting just outside their path. The lamplight didn't reach far enough and she was almost well-hidden, leaning against the building with her knees up to her chest, arms dangling. It was a decent vantage to anyone who might recognize her and Jennifer titled her head against the wall to try and stay focused on the revelers passing by.
Shrugging deeper inside the borrowed prince's jacket, Jennifer tried not to think of all the time she might've lost. Where she had been and why she couldn't seem to remember any of it. Reaching up to rub at the dark circles under her eyes, one look in the mirror enough to warn her off a second, Jennifer considered simply walking the rest of the way on her own. Once her feet felt sure again, when her stomach stopped churning and she could turn thoughts over without becoming tangled in her own uneasy memories. As her attention turned away from the parking lot, Jennifer failed to notice the onlooker's approach.
