He watched her with the type of expression more suited for watching a dog walk on its hind legs than the actual situation. He still wasn't entirely sure what to make of her, and it made him vaguely uncomfortable, if he was being entirely honest with himself. So he gave her another unamused look, blinked a couple times, and attempted to resume what he was doing, despite the fact that she had thoroughly ruined any semblance of concentration he might have had left. "I'll get enough of both later," he grumbled, rubbing at his temple at a headache that had just then decided to rear its ugly head. It was the text, he knew, he'd been leaning over it for hours already and it was about time his body started to rebel, but he just needed to finish, find the one thing that would help them make their move successfully before the guy caught on.
