Bradley was out for a walk. Mostly so he could do something other than mope around his sad apartment -- tiny and a beacon for dead bodies, apparently. So much to do in that little part of Seattle. He just wished he could come home from a sweep and not feel like he still needed to be on his guard. He just wanted to relax when he was at home, but when he wasn't thinking about life in Seattle, he was thinking about money - and how he, sadly, needed more of it.
To add insult to injury, he missed school. How tragic was that? It was enough of a depressing thought that made him realize how much he was in need of a mocha. Mochas? Cured all things. Especially deep thinky thoughts that he wasn't too keen to focus on at the moment. Lucky for him, he'd made a friend who could hook him up. She had seemed like a sweet enough girl, and far be it from Bradley to turn down friendships in this new world he was in.
Seeing the heavenly sign representing caffeinated bliss, Bradley grinned and pushed through the door. His grin turned into a smile as he caught a glimpse of his friend with the same expression he had the night before. Propping his arms on the counter, he tilted his head and said, "Today is your lucky day! Bradley, Time Suck Slayer is here!"
