The name meant nothing to him, and the way he said it made him wonder if it was meant to. He was going to have to do some research into who 'Rorschach' was, exactly. At least he sounded reasonable enough to know leaving was the best option if no one was going to be hurt.
He was going to simply tell him to leave, then bowed to curiosity, ear still straining for the sound of footsteps to be sure he wasn't coming closer. "Why did you break in here?" The man didn't sound familiar, and he didn't have any enemies. The man whose life he had destroyed back in Musings still didn't know who he was. He tried not to betray his relief that Rorschach had offered to leave instead of escalating the conflict. He didn't know what he would have done, exactly, if he'd called his bluff.
