Who: MK and Spider-Man What: Rescuing. Again! Where: Rainier Valley When: Thursday night Warnings: Hilariously bad puns, violence against people that deserve it, and possibly some super smooches.
As Spider-Man swung through the city, he idly considered the comm conversation that happened in the wake of the costume party. Maybe he should have been more worried about the weird mind-changing events that went down that night. Maybe he was being too flippant with this sort of thing. Or maybe he was just less concerned because nothing bad had happened to him personally. That possibility disturbed him a lot more than he thought it would, and with a shiver, he promptly dismissed it. No, he just had other things to worry about. They all did. It was just a stupid party, after all. No one had been badly hurt, so what was the harm in it?
His webslinging took him lower to the streets than usual, whispering over parked cars and darkened doorways. With the streets so deserted, he could risk a more high-profile route. With rooftops closer, he was able to flip and zing through the air with reckless abandon, indulging in some lighthearted fun before some low-life caught his attention again.
And speaking of.
A loud crash to his left caught his ear. Overshooting just slightly, he turned, zinging towards the source of the noise. There was never a dull moment in Seattle.
