The cat did not mind pursuit, enraged female or not, and she waited until the last possible moment to flee herself. She watched the girl shove and trip people, and she moved aside as the bodies fell like dominoes. Once the girl was away, attention turned back to the purse at the cat's feet, and she waited until they came at her before running. Losing them was easy, and it was almost as much fun to lead them on a chase as it was to steal their things.
Down the stairs, over a railing, and out a window. She glanced up at the building's exterior, and she smiled. It would be easy enough to scale. A few minutes later, and she would be back inside.
